On first glance, really love this card in pro and college so going dig deeper to confirm most of my plays. But have a few early ones to get out.
East Carolina -38 vs SMU- I have watched every play the last two weeks of Smu vs Aggies and Horned Frogs. This may be the worst CFB team I have ever seen! They have scored only 12 points in 4 games for an avg of 3 points per game! Defense gives up over 50 ppg! They avg less than 200 yards of offense per game and you would not even know they get that many by watching them. Coach June Jones has quit. Playing and starting 4th string quarterback! They have scored exactly 1 touchdown for the season and it was in junk time on the last play of their second game. I felt this spread should be close or over 50 points. Even if this is a trap as line opened at 34.5, I don't care. Even if ECU is disinterested and brings C game, it is going to be hard for Ponies to cover.
Kentucky +7.5- Gamecocks are done in Sec East and they go to play a hungry Kentucky team. Wildcats don't nene the points here. Love fact even getting hook. Expect this line to drop like a boat dropping an anchor!
Alabama -5.5- this is great value for Bama. They have had 2 weeks to prepare as had bye week. Ole Miss said they were not looking ahead but they were played basically even for 3 1/2 quarters by Memphis at home. Sims is improving as is Bama. Bama rolls here but sets up what may be my biggest play in 2 weeks when Bama visits Arkansas as a sandwich game befor Aggies come calling where Arkansas will beat Bama! Mark it down!
Vanderbilt +33- hate this Commodores team this year but terrific spot for them here. Expect number to fall dramatically. Georgia got new life in Sec East with Mizzou win at South Carolina. Guess who they play in 2 weeks? Mizzou on the road. Classic sandwich game here as well. Expect flat Bulldogs team similar to Wisky this past weekend.
North Carolina +1- jump on this one quick. Wrong team favored as Va Tech has been exposed. Still can't believe they won at the Horseshoe as they have lost 2 of 3 at home and looked like crap vs Western Michigan at home in win this weekend as nearly 4 td favorite. They can't score but these Heels can. Their defense is bad but won't matter vs Hokies pedestrian offense!
