Going over the numbers now. Here are some games that I am looking at right now.

Purdue -10.5.....Purdue coming off of heartbreak loss but figure they know CMU very well with this game being 3rd meeting in less than a year. CMU has underachieved imo so far this year and with trip to South Bend on horizon, this is a game Boilers need to win at home going into upcoming games.

Auburn +2.5...I know Tigers offense looked horrid vs Miss St (had Bulldogs this past weekend, Tuberville will have his team ready for this one. I am also not sold on LSU.

North Carolina -1....Really believe UNC is for real and VT is down this year. This would be a nice signature win for Butch coming off of dismantling of Rutgers. He also gets a couple of extra days to gameplay having played weekday game last week.

Wake Forest +4....FSU has lost 2 in a row to them but I don't believe in the FSU revenge deal. I believe this will be a very tight game which I will take likely the better qb and coach.

Michigan State -8.5....Spartans have always had ND number. I also still am not sold on ND. MSU is the better team playing at home with ND going on road for first time. Believe ND comes back down to earth this week.

Tennessee +7.5....Think this is a good spot for Vols. Believe their defense will be stingy vs Tebow and company. Vols at home give them chance to win this game su.

NC State +7.5...ECU looks like they are feeling the heat after lackluster performance at Tulane. This looks like a very good opportunity for Wolves to spring a surprise like aka Maryland did this weekend.

Ohio State -20.5....Troy looked good this weekend but feel they may be going into a buzzsaw in Columbus this weekend.

Going to look closer at these before placing bets along with a few others.

Ooh, love the MI ST and WF gms as well. Is FSU that good to be giving WF 4?

GL on picks! SEC is nuts. VOLS+7.5 big fan and I can't pull trigger on this. UAB horrid and still stretched in the sphincter from the UCLA disaster. They share this new spread with Auburn, and both facing very fast D's. I'm leaning the other way.

Tell ya something Kojak: Since Skipper's been @ ECU ('05), he's 7-2 ATS (.778) vs BCS schools during the first month of the season. Many of those were SU wins. Me ? Either ECU or no-play. GL w/the rest. (BTW, stats are based on Don Best closing lines.)

I like your MSU play. Notre Dame sucks and just got lucky with turnovers last week. They get rolled this week.

with you on the heels and mich. st but hate to say i'm on the other side of OSU vs. troy game....sounds like wells is out again this week!...what is really wrong with his toe? I think they are resting him because they think they can sneak by troy but i'm afraid if they announce that they are playing him in the next couple of days 21 points won't be enough...thoughts?

Another thing to keep in mind about the OSU game...while Tressel isn't one known to run up a score, there seems to be an active QB competition now...believe he said both QB's will be splitting snaps in the game vs. Troy. Keeping that in mind, Tressel probably wants to see each QB doing what he can, meaning in a 2 or 3 score game in the 3rd quarter he may still very well be throwing the ball and dialing up some plays to see what each QB can do. I think Troy can put up points on anybody though, and I'd spot them 10-14 in this game, meaning OSU would have to put up 35+ to cover, and until either Beanie comes back to play or Pryor is taking the majority of reps at QB, this offense isn't one that's going to do that with ease.
