Kojak's Two Games of the Week

There are two games that I am singling out in this thread that I rate as higher than normal plays but not quite Game of the Year's that I will share.

First one is Northern Iowa +3 and moneyline- Carbondale has not been playing as well though winning. They played No. Iowa earlier this year at home and No. Iowa played very strong at SIU. No. Iowa is catching SIU at a good time as they clinched Missouri Valley on Saturday and may not be extremely motivated in this one. I look for the su upset in this one.

Second game is Texas +4 at Oklahoma St. Oklahoma St. has quietly not been playing very well the past 2 weeks and only have one loss to show for it(at Missouri). They escaped Nebraska at home in ot and played piss poor against Baylor on Saturday. Texas on the other hand has been very consistent and been playing tougher competition of late and still winning. On the road, they have become warriors winning both tough games in tough venues and close games even in ot. Ok St. won the first matchup and Texas will be looking for some payback and possibly win Big 12. I look for a very tight game that may need ot to decide but I think Longhorns with Ivey and Mouton to find a way to get the win su.

Another tidbit to add on Texas from Jaypaw's thread is that Texas has won 9 of 10 since loss to OSU and they have won 4 of last 7 at Stillwater.

I am thinking exactly the same thing.

not big wagers for me, but just one 'upset' puts you nicely on the plus side. I think the points are valuable in both of these situations, best of luck tonight.

I don't think you can say Southern Illinois does not have the motivation. They are one game away from running the table in this conference, I expect them to come out and play hard.

Northern Iowa looking good early up 21-11.!

First gow looking like it will be a winner with Northern Iowa up 18 su with 4 minutes to go. Texas hanging tough and under the number as we near halftime.

First of two GOW hit with Northern Iowa and the moneyline. Hopefully everyone got on board for a very easy win. Now just need the big 2nd half from Texas to finish the sweep.

Well we lose the Texas game late as OSU executes better down the stretch and hits all but 1 of their free throws. Split GOW games. Still a good night as overall at 6-2 with only losses on Texas.

I absolutely hate the end of college bball games sometimes. I'm sitting with Texas +5 -they're down 2, at the line with a shot to cut it to one point, with 50 seconds to go. They end up losing by 9! Unbelievably frustrating and the refs missed 10 second call didn't help either. GRRRR!!!
