Kojak's Sunday Tournament Selections

Saturday was not a good day going 1-5. One of those weeks that things seem to turn on a dime. Anyway looking to end the week strong.

Killer Plays:

Kansas -10.5 - Pacific is playing extremely well right now but if no one has noticed, so are the Jayhawks. I see Pacific hanging close for a while but the roll Simeon, Miles, and Giddeon are on will help Kansas win comfortably in the end.

Georgia Tech -5.5 - Georgia Tech should be inspired knowing their bracket has opened up with the Zags loss. BC has played well down the stretch but GT has too many offensive weapons for Smith and company. I think their close win in Round 1 will propel them from here.

Pittsburgh +1.5 - Panthers were sloppy in opening round game but I think simply they are the better team. They will be focused and I think they have too many big bodies with their physical style of play for the Badgers. Home court will definitely be in Badgers favor but I think this Pitt team is mentally tough and will prevail.

I have realized how many people get on my case everytime I have a losing day or week but how many of them are there to congrats when you win. Very few. That is why I only respond to those that are there with me the entire time. I think we all carry the torch as the best from time to time as it is hard when you battle every day to see every angle. My teams are long gone but I am glad for you that Pitt is still alive. I think they will have a great chance to knock off Cowboys. I have them going to Final Four in one of my Brackets. Best of luck and I think E.Rutherford will be filled with a lot of Pitt fans and get them over the top against Cowboys and most likely Wake. OSU is weak on inside and if Pitt can go to the well they will be fine.
