With last game pending, I am at 22-22 for the day on Saturday with Santa Clara remaining. This Sunday brings my GOY #5. I am 3-1 on these plays and this Sunday bring a game as strong as Washington at Arizona last week. So let's get to it.

GOY #5 is Missouri -3
Missouri is playing its final game of the year on Senior Day. This is a very special Senior Day this year with Ricky Paulding,Arthur Johnson, Travon Bryant, and Josh Kroenke playing before the home crowd for the last time. This has been a special group of players as they have won more NCAA tournament games than any other class in Missouri history. What makes this day even more special is that this will be the last game played in the Hearnes Center. For many years, this has been the building that no other team wanted to play in and has provided over the years an overwhelming home advantage for the Tigers. All the past Missouri great players including former Coach Norm Stewart will be their to send this building out with a bang. Who better to play against the Tigers in their last game than Kansas. Kansas defeated Missouri about a month ago in a game Missouri could have very easily won. Kansas has been a very poor road team this year in the Big 12 getting blown out by Oklahoma St., Nebraska, Iowa State, and Texas. The crowd will be electric in this one as more important than all the above reasons, the Tigers need the win to most likely clinch 4th place in Big 12, bye in Big 12 tournament, and probably an at large berth in the NCAA Tournament. I don't see this game being much of a contest as Missouri has all the intangibles and will be extremely motivated. Missouri will win this game by double figures and will blow out their arch rival Jayhawks in this one.(loss)

Top Plays:

Syracuse +4 - Orangemen have been quietly getting it together and will have a major payback on their mind after losing by 28 earlier this year at UCONN. UCONN has covered one Big East game on the road all year and has generally been piss poor on the road. I look for Syracuse to win this one su.(Downgraded to a regular play)(win)

Florida +8 - Gators are in a similar situation as Syracuse as they need a win for an at large berth and it is a payback from Kentucky win on their home floor. Difference here is Florida will cover but will not win as Kentucky will pull out yet another close SEC Battle.(loss)

Illinois -8 - Illini can win Big 10 outright with win over lowly Buckeyes and they will going away. Illini have too many athletes and are peaking at the right time.(loss)

Regular Plays:

Rutgers +1.5(loss by 1/2 pt)
Arizona -15.5(win)
Maryland -10 (loss by 1 pt)
New Orleans -2
Middle Tennessee St. +8 (win)

Best of luck to all and hopefully you join in with the GOY winner.

Kojak, this line is already at 3.5 eberywhere and will most likely hit 4 by tomorrow. Unfortunately, where I bet, I can't play overnights. Do you still feel this strongly at
-4 ?

whormoan,

This line could be 10 and I would still feel as strongly about it. Where do you bet at? On Don Best I still see quite a few 3's out there. At 3.5 was the opening line. I guess what I am trying to say is anything below 10 is a play if that gives you an idea about what I think is going to happen here. Best of luck.

sportsbet,

Missouri line is way off in this one. As you can tell from above, this line should be near 10 imo. I predict Missouri to win by at least 12 but feel it will be closer to 20 in this one. Best of luck.

misfit,

Best of luck to both of us on our Missouri play as I also got down on it earlier at 3. I played as many games as I could to get the bankroll up enough for a huge play on this one. I was over .500 today but hit 4 parlays on the winners to build substantial room where even if I lose this game I am only losing my profit for the week but I think this game will win handily. Best of luck.

Kojak, I bet at Intertops, and they don't offer overnights. However, I monitor thegreek.com and pinnacle very closely for movement. The greek opened 3 and is currently 3.5. Pinnacle has Mizzou -3.5 -110, and Kansas at +3.5 +100.
Will be on this big with you as I agree with all key points. Just worried UM will be too emotional over senior day and pressure and start off slowly. Good luck to us!

whormoan,

I am considering betting both the 1st and 2nd half's as well. I think this game will go under the points as Missouri defense will really hold down the Jayhawks. The only reason imo that line is so low is that Bill Self has never lost to Missouri. What this stat fails to say is none of those games were played in Columbia at Hearnes. All in St. Louis with Illinois and at KU this year. Padgett is out so there is 5 less fouls for Johnson and Bryant. Jeff Greaves almost always gets in foul trouble in these games and the cupboard is bare now with no one to backup but walk on kid whose name escapes me and will be making first trip into this environment. My final score prediction in this one is Missouri 77 Kansas 57. Best of luck.

Wow bud I just realized my card is very similar to yours as I'm on Rutgers (bought the hook but feel they win outright), UNO (love this one), MTSU in addition to Mizzou.

I only have 5 sides and we're on 4 of them together! That's a good omen IMHO!

Good luck to us!

Well Kojak, I'me in @ Mizzu -3 tomm. I agree
on all reasons on Mizzu. Most NCAA wins for this class tells me how Mizzu is the biggest
underachiever in both FB and BB ever in the Big 8 or now Big 12!! One Univ. in a state of 4
million and no conf. titles in a long time!

toto,

If you remember under Norm that Missouri nearly always won conference but rarely won in tournament often getting upset by the likes of Lamar, Houston,Rhode Island, Northern Iowa, UAB, Xavier to name just a few of the nightmares. This team is different in the fact they underachieve all year, just make the tournament, and then play like they should have all year. I blame this on Quin Snyder as he understands coaching in the tournament but if he would have learned to coach during regular season and gotten a favorable seed, Missouri may have went to the Final Four these past 3 years. Their entire season is on the line tomorrow and it is these type of games that this team is built on. Missouri BIG tomorrow! Best of luck.

I love Mizzou. I really think they will win this one by double digits. I'm really hoping they make it into the NCAA tourney. If they do, they could be a force to be reckoned with.

Karec,

They will take care of business tomorrow as I have exactly zero worries about this game. If they win this one, they will be in no matter what happens in conference tournament. This team is capable of losing first game or winning it all. It just simply depends on them. Best of luck.

texaskid,

Funny thing is that not only do we but several other cappers are on the same games which imo is pretty damn scary especially Missouri as I have not seen a Kansas yet. Keep up the nice work and best of luck.
