There is some games I am going to put out early this week. I will add likely a few as week goes on. Here are plays going forward:

$3000....Mizzou/Oklahoma State over 80.....Like I mentioned in other thread, this is going to be a scoreboard that will react like a pinball machine. I expect Mizzou to hit their average at least and OSU to score high 30's.

$200...Texas +7....I really believe Texas is going to give OU fits in this game. It will be a tight game that is decided by less than td either way. I believe Texas can win outright if they can run football adequately and not turn the ball over.

$3000....USC/Arizona State over 47....I believe this number is off by more than a td. Trojans defense is banged up so I do believe ASU will score at least 17 points likely more. USC should have no problem getting over 30 points vs ASU defense.

$1000 Wisconsin +6....Badgers have lost 2 tough games in a row. I was not really impressed with Penn St. offense vs Purdue defense. This will be a tight game but like fact that it is back to back on road for Lions and hard for me to fathom a 3 game losing streak for Badgers including 2 in a row at home. This seems like a very generous amount of points for a quality home team like Wisky.

$500 Mississippi State +3 (bought .5 pt)....Bulldogs are live in this game. Vandy could definitely be looking ahead of the Bulldogs here. Mississippi St. is capable of winning su in this game. I believe they will and pull the upset.

$500 Stanford +6.5....Arizona is primed to be upset in this game. Stanford has been a decent home team and played better than I expected this season. I think this is a lot of points for Cats to be laying on the road in conference based upon past track record under Stoops.

$1000 Georgia -12....This Tennessee is simply not a very good team or well coached. Richt has had 2 weeks to prepare for this game and will be looking for some revenge on last years woodshed game in Knoxville. I believe they will get it.

$200 Minnesota +12.5....This is an inflated number from win at Michigan for Illinois. Minny has proved to be better than people expected. Illinois has won 2 games at home vs 2 cupcakes and looked bad in doing so. I don't think their defense will allow them to cover this number and could be ripe to play another nailbiter.

TOTAL CARD SO FAR:

$3000
MIZZOU/OSU OVER 80
ASU/USC OVER 47

$1000
GEORGIA -12
WISCONSIN +6

$500
MISSISSIPPI STATE +3 (BOUGHT .5 PT)
STANFORD +6.5

$200
TEXAS +7
MINNESOTA +12.5

You really think ASU is going to score 17?

How about if Sullivan is thrown to the wolves?

wisconsin scares me..they don't have any firepower and this yrs Penn State team is much better than the one that beat the Badgers by 31 points last yr.

if nicksons playing i'm grabbing Vandy..and I believe the favorite has won the last 6 Texas /oklahoma games

Good luck with the rest:toast:

Wisky game scares me as well....Evridge is under fire and might be close to losing his job. IMO he was never close to being a sure fire replacement for Donovan. If Evridge gets pulled from this game they have no chance to get back into it.

Kojak - With you on the Missouri/Okla St over. While Missouri should cover, having Texas on deck is something to not take lightly. If they indeed look ahead, it won't be their offense that will suffer.

What are your thoughts on the following totals?...

UAB/Houston
Nev/NM St
Tulsa/SMU
TT/Nebraska

Kojak, do your thoughts on the ASU/USC total change at all with the news that Carpenter is doubtful to play?

Kojak, I always look to your posts early to get your opinions on the games. Your thoughtful analysis is really appreciated. The card looks good tomorrow, but I think you are in trouble in one game. The Missouri/Oklahoma St. game is going Under! I have been doing really well on totals lately, and this is one of my biggest plays tomorrow. Not that I think I will get you off the play, but hopefully you will at least consider downgrading it. Anyway, good luck to you!
