I have a 3 pack for Wednesday for everyone!
Arizona -133 (Vasquez) vs Houston (Astacio)- Houston as everyone already knows has been hot of late and as a result of that, getting some darn good value with Vasquez in this one. Houston has had few games during their hot stretch where they did not have the sp advantage. Arizona has not been playing bad ball themselves. Fact that this game is in Arizona gives me more ammunition as Houston prior to last road trip had been very below average on the road. The fact that Houston will likely win tonight with Clemens pitching, like Zona to bounce back as they are starting to gain some momentum in NL West.
Cincinnati +120 (Claussen) vs Atlanta (Ramirez)- Reds got bombed last night vs Braves but actually had been playing some decent ball. I have started to see a trend with Reds with home series is that they play poorly in Game 1 and play solid and often win games 2 and 3 (eg: Cards,Cubs). Atlanta has played below .500 ball on the road while Cinci has been decent at home so I like Atlanta to play back down to earth with their offense in this one. Should have saved some runs from last night.
Phillies -135 (Tejada) vs Cubs (Williams)- Tejada has been pretty decent while Williams has been very inconsistent often lately getting lit up. Phillies played flat game last night which often happens when teams return from long or long distance road trips. I look for them to be a lot sharper in this one and win fairly easily.
