Monday night game brings back a lot of nostalgia as we not only have Boys and Skins but Parcells and Gibbs Reunion. Two things stick out to me in this game. First, Skins are really banged up on defense as both Arrington and Barrow will miss tomorrow's game. Second, how well Dallas has done offensively with Testaverde and the old guys of Keyshawn, Anderson, George, and others. The only problem with that has been their inability to get it in the endzone. Dallas was tore up on the road two weeks ago by the Vikings and Moss but recovered nicely embarrassihg Garcia last weekend. Redskins have not been firing on all cylinders offensively but get a lift with Brunell being able to play. To sum everything up, I expect this game to have a lot more points than the experts think as Gibbs is known for being an offensive coach and was not happy with the 7 turnovers in New York. I also think Dallas will be able to move the ball against Skins through the air with the safe passes. In the end the difference will be the running game with a big edge going to Portis and the Skins.

Top Play: Dallas/Skins over 35.5

Small Play: Washington -1.5

Best of luck to everyone!

With you on the Skins...Big bounce back game for Portis & Co after an awful showing last week where they still had a chance to win the game. Dallas is overrated IMO and will be playing from behind all game. GL

One thing which scares me is the Skins injuries to the Def side of the ball. That being said, Portis carries the load against a pass attack that lit up the Vikes and the Browns. Vikes and Browns, HA.

Furthermore, should be pouring down in DC all night.

"they say drizzles till 8 then tropical storm type rain during the game." Coming from a buddy in the DC area. that being said, if it rains, another advantage to the Skins as it should definitely hamper the Dal pass attack and we all know how they run the ball.

My concern is that if it comes to a shootout then the skins wont be able to keep up...

I initially liked them for all of the reasons you are listing - especially the better running game considering the weather - but it only takes a few deep passes for washington to be forced to go to the air , and remember that in wet conditions it isnt only the receiver that loses a step - the dbacks have to deal with the same footing problems if they occur.

GL though I'm gonna do some more research

holysmoke,

So far Don Best is reporting nothing but chance of rain. Obviously things could change with weather but until I have it confirmed, I am going to stick with what I have. If weather is bad, may not play game at all as people may jump on Skins but it a bad weather game, I tend to like Cowboys to not turn it over with George and Anderson. Look at all the turnovers for Skins last week. We will have to wait and see. Best of luck.

As of 330 cst, no change in the weather in DC as still 71 degrees with 60 % chance of rain. Will keep updated if Jeanne gets there !

From looking at the weather map in motion it looks as if the rain is likely to start before game time.

From what I can glean on the net, there is only a 50% chance of rain all evening in DC and mild winds of 6-8 mph....hardly enough to drastically effect game conditions.

I really like your over play in this game, Kojak, but I feel like if I play the over, it will dump down rain at 9:00 and Skins win 10-7. If I play the under, it will remain clear and Cowboys put on an air show and win 27-14. I am looking at a tease of Dallas & the over, but will back off the over if it is raining by gametime.

Thanks to everyone for your input. Anything else new to report on this game?

In DC....the clouds have begun to get darker. Calling for showers by sunset, getting heavier as the night goes on.
