For those going to the Bash, here are some picks to put some extra cash in your pocket before you get to Vegas!
San Francisco -107 (Lowry) vs Cincinnati (Hudson)- Lowry has been solid of late for Giants. Throw in the fact that Giants look like they may be getting hot with the bats makes this a very easy selection.
Cubs +130 (Zambrano) vs Astros (Oswalt)- Zambrano has been Cubbies best of late. Cubs really need this game to gain ground in wildcard. They seem to be ready to make a run at a winning streak or winning a large amount of games. Their is a lot of value with plus number as well.
Kansas City +210 (Carrasco) vs Mariners (Moyer)- Moyer at -230? Are you kidding me! No matter how poorly Royals are playing this is great value. They have lost 16 in a row but it has to stop some time and believe it will right here with the big plus money!
St. Louis -153 (Mulder) vs Arizona (Webb)- Arizona has flat out been noncompetitive vs Cards this year. Webb earlier got roughed up if I remember by Cards in Arizona. Cards are catching ARizona and this weekend the Giants on the tail end of both teams being on third and 4th cities of 2 week road trips. The fact that Cards after this weekend will leaving on 13 game road trip of their own puts a big premium on home games this week. They should be solid bet all week as I expect them to go no worse than 5-1. Mulder is a different pitcher at night vs his day time starts!
White Sox +100 (Buhrle) vs Twins (Santana)- This game opened at -120 for Santana but has been dropping like a rock. Really don't think Sox are playing best ball but no way with way Santana has pitched should he be favored vs Buehrle in Chicago. Another great value game as Sox will be looking to avoid 5 game losing streak and getting swept by Twinkies!
