I'll be the first to admit that he's a great baller, but I'll be damned if he doesn't portray a bitch ass persona. After the first 3 games he's very serious with his scowls and trying to tell the whole world "im in a pissy mood b/c i'm in my intense focused zone, blah blah", and then this "I'll run through the wall" business after gm3. Now he's giddy happy, all smiles like a lil school girl at gm4's post gm conference. Is he bipolar?

I just don't see how anyone can be a fan of this guy.

the guy is a baller, this title will lift a huge monkey off of his back and cement his legacy as one of the alltime greats as he'll finally get his title without Shaq.
THis is huge for Kobe, it's like when Jordan got his first title, that's how big this title is for Kobe.

this is why i hate the nba. every game has a ton of bad calls, but the lakers have always gotten more than a fair share of calls going their way. game 2 finals was nearly as bad as sactown game 6.

kobe's elbow must be fucking gold. he elbows artest in the neck and artest's neck gets called for a flagrant. he absolutely clocks jameer in his face and theres no call.

refs not gonna call anything against the lakers if it's gonna have an effect on the game. kobes two elbows and reddick who was completely fouled late in the fourth wasn't call

Right, and the Lakers shouldn't have taken even 1 FT the entire 4th quarter. They didn't get a FT until 3.4 seconds left in overtime.

Word is..... next year Kobe is playing with a referee,s whistle in his mouth.... so be prepared for an extra 20 points a game... He certainly has driving to the hoop ,missing the shot and then bitching to the ref down pat.

When is the NBA going to hand out T,s for unsportmanlike conduct.... It gets tiresome to see all these grown men bitch with long faces for a whole game...

Kobe is one of the better 1st quarter players....

he was basically invisible in the 4th and if it wasnt for Fisher the "closer", Kobe would have lost this one too....well at least this one he didnt have 100 turnovers and missed foul shots in the 4th, he was just invisible.

Invisible is a big step up from his performances in the last two 4th quarters

I like Fisher, Ariza, and Walton on that squad, so I'm not a laker hater per se. It's more so solely b/c of Kobe. I mean the guy has absolutely zero likability factor.

i agree with this. Kobe's lucky that his teammates, mainly Ariza & Fisher, bailed them out in the 4th, b/c he himself did not do much and rather actually hurt his team by once again going back to his natural tendencies of trying to make the game all about himself and trying to do everything.

Hey, he's up 3-1 in the series..he and the Lakers deserve to be giddy at this point. I'm a big fan of Kobe and while he's no Jordan and never will be, I admire his intensity and love for the game.

Also, the bitches all the Magic after getting slapped in their own home court after being up 12. Did you see Pietrus' cheap fould at the end? What a moron. I hope Gasol gets a shot back at him right before they win the championship.

Please don't make ref excuses..if the Magic made free throws it wouldn't have even been an issue. They gave the game to the Lakers(combined with Fisher making big shots) not the refs.

As for Kobe's teammates bailing him out, hey, that's what they are there for. Besides, these teammates only get the looks that they do because the attention is on Kobe and he sets them up. So it's still Kobe. He did put up like 40 points too.
