I don't know how it is across the country, but here the talk is still all LeBron and his shot. Was Kobe's performance last night not "Jordanlike"? Hits a huge 3 with under a minute and hits clutch FT's to end the game.....all on the road against a team that had won 16 in a row at home.

Meanwhile, yes LeBron's shot was great, but "his" team blows two huge leads at home, lost one and the other required a miracle shot.....again at HOME. A place where they lost only 1 meaningful game all year.

Yes LeBron is great, but why is Kobe suddenly surpassed by him in terms of sports talk? I think Kobe's performance was much more clutch. He had time to think about the FT's...still made them. While LeBron's shot was clutch, let's face it, the D could've been better and it really was a chuck shot with a little "please go in".

I've never really cared for him that much, but Kobe is as close to Jordan as we've seen & is easily the more natural scorer than LeBron who depends more on his size in getting to the hoop.....

JMO Kobe is the BEST BB player and LeBron is the BETTER BB player if that makes any sense.

yea but watching both those games, you cant give all the credit to one player...
denver blew the game with bad shots, turnovers and missed free throws and poor decisions, kobe capitalized
magics played awesome, lots of clutch shots, lebron and the cavs just made one more shot than they did

DEN playing like shit in the 4th has nothing to do with kobe stepping up when the game was on the line. no matter how bad DEN played, kobe still has to make those FT's when hes at the line. whether you love or hate kobe, you gotta give credit where it's due.

Ya, you would think Lebron's buzzer beater was the first one in NBA history by all the coverage.

Lebron didn't start playin D until this year - after learning from Kobe on team USA. His fundamentals/IQ are not up there with Kobe's, and I agree with Hache Man that Lebron relies greatly on his strength and power to dominate games. What will happen as the years pass? Lebron doesn't even have a championship yet.

Its like Kobe is so great that his buzzer beaters and "jordan-like" performances are expected and taken for granted. Plus the media and NBA are really riding and pushing this Lebron vs Kobe thing. Its going to make them the most money.
