b/c their nba salary doesnt mean squat compared to their endorsements. i didnt read the article but nike isnt going to give lebron 100 million to play in europe. along with all the other deals they get, can europe match them?

Europe can give a much bigger contract and they get their housing paid for, plus they don't have to pay taxes on their contract.

They will have endorsement deals in Europe, trust me. Plus I guarantee ESPN would show some Europe games if LeBron and Kobe were over there. I'd watch LeBron in a Europe game with Ricky Rubio before I watch a Denver Nuggets/Oklahoma City game in the NBA.

i dont disagree with anything you've said, but lebron wouldnt do it. kobe might just b/c he spent some time growing up there. nba is a joke to some point. especially when you have guys like ron artest saying "im ghetto, yao better get used to it" stuff like that there is no place for for how much they get paid.

i still cant figure out how cleveland is and was any good the last few years nba has to have a hand in it. Lebron is just a freak of nature athletically but no basketball IQ or talent he has the worst 3 pt shot in the game statistically and blows at FT's.

IMO hes not a top 10 player in the league.
The nba just needed a new hero he came in right around the kobe fiasco.
Hes not bad or anything else just not good or great like ESPN and the nba make him.

say what you want about the nba, but this post alone about LeBron not being top 10 is probably one of the dumbest things I've ever heard anyone say.

He's clearly a top 3 player in the NBA. The Cavs team is full of garbage. Most of the Cavs starters aren't starting on any other NBA team, yet the Cavs make it to the playoffs as well as the NBA finals last year.

ps- I'm not a CAVS fan, I actually don't like the Cavs, but I have to defend against an ignorant statement.

yeah hes most talented so is vick in football but he hasnt done anything

when lebron took cleveland to the finals all he had to was beat detroit and for some reason detroit played horrible all series. He shoots the worst 3pt in the league and all his baskets are dunks i dont like him and i dont think hes that great.

Being Canadian I love Steve Nash, but to put him over LeBron is just crazy. Nash might not even be a top 30 player in the game. He just plays in a fast tempo offense that allows him to do nice passes all the time to impress everybody. What people forget is he turns it over almost more than anybody and doesn't play defense at all.

LeBron had a better shooting %, more rebounds, more PPG, more APG, more BPG and was more valuable to his team than Kobe last year. I think Cleveland went 0-8 in games LeBron James didn't play. He was the real MVP last year.

None of these All-Star level guys will go. The NBA won't let it happen. Lebron and Kobe play to make history, they want all the records, they cant afford to be leaving for 1-2 years. They already got enough money to not have to worry. They may go after their NBA careers are over. Like when MJ came back on the Wizards I can see that type of situation except Kobe going to play in Europe.
