jaygordo - do i wanna tie up my money for about 10 months so i can get the lakers @ +200 or there abouts. HELL NO! if i place this wager now - even if i end up winning - the book wouldn't care for they would have my money for almost a year.

as for kobe - from all i have read and heard in the local media - the case against him is very weak - at best. this was nothing more than a country bumpkin sheriff trying to make some news. he got that - and in doing so - will end up costing the city and chance of prosecuting kobe.

what the hell did they need to do this for. does anyone out there think kobe was a "flight risk?" oh, yeah, kobe is gonna flee the country for good because of this? get real! please - this whole thing is funnier than "SNL" in their glory days. these idiots in CO make the prosecution in the OJ trial seem competent.
