Everyone talks about how this guy is in the same class as D Wade and Lebron. What a joke!

I don't have the game and I want Utah to win, but at least make the game entertaining by attempting to score and looking like you are interested in playing.

4 shots in the 1st qtr. Not saying D Wade or the Lebrons would come from behind and win, but at least show some effort. I don't care when teams lose or play poorly, but lack of effort is never acceptable.

Whoever starts these threads calling out different elite players in the NBA are fools. I really don't believe that you did not bet on the Lakers. If you didn't why would you say that about Kobe?

Just like that goof that started the thread about D-WADE. I don't know if it is the same person who started this and that thread but my point is you guys need to watch more ball to call Kobe garbage.

Grow up folks...

I'm the biggest Kobe hater around but the guy is a legit talent at the top of the game. I've hated on the way he plays the game before but the skills are as good as anyone's and he's getting better at playing a team game.

1) Lebron
2) Howard
3) Kobe
4) Wade
5) Paul

Howard definitely needs to work on some offensive facets of his game but he simply takes over the game and dominates the blocks. Centers win championships. Howard=Shaq. IMO.

Howard ahead of Kobe and Wade?? He's one of the last players I would want to have the ball with 1-2 minutes left on the clock. His offense is suspect at best. He is a defensive beast but its kind of hard not to be when you are 7'1 with freakish athletic talent. Maybe one day, but he hasn't done anything to deserve to be talked about in the same class as lebron, kobe, or wade!!

i know everybody says games are decided in the final 2 minutes, but the truth is that they aren't. 30 points by howard in the 1st quarter count for just as much on the scoreboard as if they were the final 30 points scored. is it as dramatic? of course not.

howard dominates the game and puts his team in a position to win at the end. just because he doesn't take the last shot doesn't mean he hasn't had a monumental effect on the game.

howard will be the most dominant player in the game in 2-3 years time.

as of today though, i'd still take kobe #1

I hope you are not serious about this thread. If you think Kobe is not in the same league as Dwayne and Lebron you don't know basketball.

Didn't someone start a thread like this about Wade after the Heat lost game 1? People are too fickle or quick to assume things. Kobe is one of the greatest players of all time. Certainly one of the best in today's NBA.

Unless you're Jordan....:toast: Big men can't win a championship without a legit guard.

No way is Howard ahead of Kobe. I'm a Kobe hater myself but I would easily put him 1 or 2 with LeBron.

why are people kobe haters? i never got that.

guy is one of the top talents you'll ever see and gets teammates involved.

the only PR hit he took was the alleged rape in colorado but that woman proved she was insane and had sex with 4 other guys the same day.
