I usually follow your picks 5-0 SAT, but boy were you way off! Go SD!!! :toast:

It's coming down to the last game of the season. DEN @ SD at the end of the month.

Denver still has a game @ home vs Buffalo before that. They will not lose that game. SD also has a game @ TB, which they should be dogs in by at least 4.5, if not 6 points.

I am a Broncos fan, but I fade this team more often than not, and really don't think much of them this year. They are winning next week though. If it really comes down to the last game you can just pencil in SD because Denver is not winning that game.

It really doesn't matter though. All either one of these teams are going to get by winning the division is a first round ass kicking by either Indy or NE. SD would have a shot, but they need Tomlinson to somehow regain his brilliance, which I don't see happening.

I hope it does go down to the game in SD and Denver loses. Then I hope Shanahan gets fired. And the funny thing is, I am indifferent to both these teams. What bothers me is when a coach just gives up. Look at the difference in these games. Turner and the Chargers keep going for it being two scores down with less than 5 minutes to go. They go into two minute offense, everyone's hustling back to the line...they realize there's a sense of urgency. With over 11 minutes to go in the game and down by 20 points, the Broncos are huddling up, just wasting time with absolutely no sense of urgency. Shanahan was quite content to try and dink and dunk Carolina for short yardage pickups while they continued to waste time. It's the second time this year I've seen this out of this squad. At least Marshall was trying to score at the end. And yes, lord knows we wouldn't want to risk injuring someone when we're down by 3 scores with 11 minutes to go. I wonder if that's what the Colts were thinking when they came back on Houston earlier in the year in a similar scenario. Hell even the Lions managed a 3 score comeback earlier in the year versus GB (albeit their defense was so bad they still got blown out with 7 minutes to go). If the Broncos even make the playoffs they have zero chance of winning a game with this quitters attitude instilled by their coach. Time for Shanahan to say bye bye.
