Too bad Colombia were out; I don't think they would have capitulated like Brazil.
At the very least, they would have given the Germans a game.

I'm pretty sure Colombia would have given the Germans a run for their money........I know Brazil was w/o 2 of their better players but no way should a team fold like they did.......there always should be other good players to fill in when needed.

That was a complete embarrassment for the Brazilian team & their country......I'm wondering how they play for 3rd place......will they try to redeem what happened yesterday but I don't think it can be redeemed, the catastrophe of how they lost will leave a bitter taste in the players & coaches mouth for a very long time.

Clean sweep today going 9-0 on wagers, definitely needed that!

After Germany won, you just knew the south american team would advance .....for goodness sakes, the cup is in south america, how would it look not to have a team in the cup from that continent. Messi looking to bring home the trophy vs the very tough Germans.

Feels good to get the money back lost by those Colombia futures & wagers.......

Still (-134.56) & hope to get on the positive in the cup finals.........

Nice hit!!

So it's a rematch on Sun. There are only a few changes in starting XI from both sides when the Germans crushed Argentina 4-0 (QF) in 2010. Four years earlier, Argentina managed to take the game to the pks but the Germans also prevailed the shootout (QF). Their head-to-head record in the final is a tie however, Maradona team beat the Germans in 1986 by 3-2 in Mexico and lost 1-0 to the Germans in Italy in 1990.

Would it be a third loss in a row for Argentina? It's very bad run IF it is...

Thanks Snoop......if it wasn't for those Colombia bets, I would be up around 5k even with the 2k losses in parlays.

I'm gonna wait until after the 3rd place game on Saturday between Brazil vs Netherlands to make a play on the cup finals on Sunday........

Unless Messi has a little bit of magic left it's hard to see Argentina win...

Any thoughts on the 3rd place game? Very confusing to me...

It has me confused as well......then again, Brazil was a favorite over Germany by game time which made absolutely no sense!

If Brazil wins, will they feel better & proud after taking a beat down like none other?

They are favorite because they are at home & the Netherlands had 1 thing on their minds, to win it all so I don't see them playing to win IMO.......if I do have a play on this game, I will post it by Saturday morning.

I rather watch this game & bet the finals on Sunday.......
