I don't know, man. Robin Lopez isn't nothing. He's a solid two way center with a decent contract. I'm also not sure that the reward part is that high. Rose is on an expiring deal. Let's say he goes out and has a great season, now you have to let him walk or give an aging injury prone PG crazy money.

I do like Lopez. But he has reached his ceiling. 8/5 career. 10/7 last year but he was making 12.5mil a year? Thats way too much for a replaceable guy. He is a bruiser around the rim but they weren't going to playoffs with Lopez, with Rose it at least gives them more potential.
Are the Knicks paying his 20mil? hopefully not all of it because now it becomes a big risk move
