R1 - #2 Endean Affair (3-1) looks a lock. Longshot play is #9 Shocking Penny (16-1).
R2 - #9 Fay Khan It (3-2) will be another tough to beat favorite. #8 Tynesider (12-1) is my longshot if the ground stays heavy.
R3 - Finally a beatable favorite. #8 Hutson (6-1) gets my money going 2nd off the layoff.
R4 - #5 Chocktaw Spirit (14-1) is a sneaky one. Ran well in trials and needed last race. Should improve with better draw as well.

R1 - #1 Pinhead (4-1) goes 2nd off the layoff and LOVES the heavy ground.
R2 - #3 Carlos (9-2) drops in class for the red-hot Tyler barn.
R3 - #6 In Disguise (5-1) hasn't been seen since Halloween, but goes for a trainer that can get them ready to fire off the break.
R4 - #6 Telekinetic (16-1) will likely be bet down, but should still hold value. Gets a big jockey upgrade.
R5 - #5 Claire's Pal (17-1) makes his second lifetime start. He's well bred and worth a flyer to improve enough to hit the board.
R6 - #4 Hidalgo (12-1) is purely a wet track specialist. Should find today's going suits him fine.

R1 - #1 Butler (3-2) should win with ease, but I'm going to try and beat him with #5 Oh Hermani (6-1) and maybe an exacta box.
R2 - #3 Our Tristabelle (9-1) has won her last two tries on a heavy track similar to today's conditions. Worth a shot in a wide-open race.
R3 - #8 Full Tilt (6-1) has been running against tougher and gets a jockey upgrade today.
R4 - #5 Mischief Managed (6-1) is dropping out of back to back graded stakes and fits perfectly with these.
R5 - #1 Sonofabutcher (7-1) is the horse for the course. Could provide good value.
R6 - #4 Mont Ventoux (7-1) made an impressive run in last at 1 1/8 and now shortens up to a sprint. Strong jockey takes over.
R7 - #5 Canny Man (6-1) is a very consistent gelding who might get ignored a little at the windows. Hoping for a nice place payout.
R8 - #10 Bosch (13-1) is my longshot pick of the day. Is bred to go the distance and is in great form.

Rough night in Auckland with only 2 placings out of 8 races.

R1 - #4 Eparaina (4-1) locally-trained filly is coming off a synthetic race, but is meant for turf. Looks tough. Longshot #6 Pin Pointing (17-1) is worth a look.
R2 - #3 Whatanight (6-1) ran well from a very wide post in return from layoff, now gets the 2-hole and should be in the mix.
R3 - #5 Revolt (10-1) makes his debut for a barn that is strong with 2 year-olds. Impressed in recent trial.
R4 - #1 Coinneach (17-1) another making first lifetime start is trained locally and lures top jock Riddell. If this one takes some action, I'll be all over him.
R5 - #7 Lincoln The Fox (22-1) has been improving with added distance and adds a quarter mile today, so worth a shot at long odds.
R6 - #2 Crouch (4-1) will be tough to beat, even in first try against winners. Looks like a real racehorse.
R7 - #6 Latrelle (8-1) making 2nd career start and can improve with the expected better footing today. If it was the heavy track that hurt her on debut, we could be looking at a big run at a fair price.
R8 - #2 Incubo (8-1) ran a clunker off the freshening, but this is an easier field for his 2nd try. Should make amends.

R1 - #6 Tres Chic (3-1) is bred for the distance and gets a weight allowance from last try.
R2 - #5 Pheroz Friends (11-2) American-bred filly makes first start on synth track. Three strong trials signal fitness.
R3 - #2 Make Believe (5-2) drop in class should be enough to insure a win here.
R4 - #4 Richard Stomper (7-2) looks to be in top form since the break. Expect a big run.
R5 - #9 Hereigoagain (12-1) fresh off a 6f trial victory. Has every right to compete at what could be nice odds.
R6 - #6 Catalina Bay (10-1) jockey upgrade for pure closer. A well-timed run gets her home.
R7 - #3 Red Vienna (8-1) took a liking to the AW track in last, could improve off that run today.
R8 - #1 Facetime (13-2) anything over 5-1 makes her the pick of the day.
R9 - #7 Da Vinci Girl (15-2) will appreciate the added distance and new jockey is nails with routers.
