TimberWolves -5 and 189.5 at Oly right now. Showdown game 7 in Minnesota.

The line quickly moved to 5.5 and then Olympic took the game off the board, possibly due to Cassell's injury status and possible suspensions for Garnett and Peeler. I'm sure Cassell will play and highly doubt that Garnett will be suspended. However, I could see Peeler getting 1 game.

5 out of every 6 game 7`s are won by the hometeam...

The Kings bench is so thin now, a once great second team, almost non existent...

The Wolves seem to be the better matchup vs L.A. and a better defensive team...

Both teams will be battle weary, I`m not impressed at all with Sacramento, they aren`t nowhere near the same team they were two years ago...

I have Sacramento for the series and had them today but they just don`t seem to have it...

How soon would Kings-Wolves/Lakers Series start?
For either's sake hope not on Friday after all these other delays for no reason.

I'm in odd position of having Wolves to win NBA and Kings to win Series with Wolves. Why would Wolves be better match-up with Lakers other than they have home-court? Who on Minny could make Bryant and O'Neal work?

I don't think either matchup particually well with the Lakers, but Sacremento's porous defense is a bit more worrisome IMO.

the Wolves D is much better, plus the homecourt...but I don`t think either can win 4 of 7 from L.A.

and now with both teams going into that series banged up, its all looking good for L.A. I tell ya the Lakers, you can never count them out, and Phil Jackson...They may be lucky, but they made their breaks too...

I will pull for whoever they play to knock them off, unless I need L.A. , I just don`t see it now...somehow they found the defensive energy they were lacking

this is another reason why the NBA is so skewed. the lakers end up with full week to rest just beaucase they closed up their series a whopping 1 game sooner. all about money and ratings. no reason to put 2 east games 1 day and 2 west in the other when it gets this deep to make it fair

sac has the better chance of beating LA. when healthy they owned LA in RS. . .SAC was the best team all year until injurys you guys keep forgetting that

Rob,

Hopefully during the off-season this issue is discussed. There is definately to much wasted time.

I think Minny will win though Sac probably matches up better with LA because Brad Miller and Divac are better suited to handling Shaq than Olowokandi and Johnson. Olo and Ervin Johnson would need to be able to slow down Shaq and I don't know if they can. However, Minny does have HCA where Sac does not. So that may balance it out a bit. Hard to say.

Bulldog,

You must be quite the contrarian.

Probably the ONLY person on earth with two bets on western conference teams.... and not a bet on Lakers OR Spurs.

Good luck, sir!

I actually had dual NBA Champ futures(made in February and March) on T'wolves(+650) and Spurs(+710). Spurs bet was made right before they went on long win streak and I looked very smart until that .4 seconds of infamy! Made Sac Series bet when series was 2-2 and +175 looked really good as neither team had impressed.
You are right though on the contrarian label as I have heard that many times and agree.
