kinda dumb but when do you guys look at the nfl lines?

i ususally start looking at lines around wednsday evening, thursday morning. i like to form an opinion first, and then start looking. hanging around here though, it's hard to go long without getting a line shoved up your nose

What some of you guys should try to do is to make the line before Bookmaker comes out with it on Sunday afternoon...compare your line with the opening line and go from there...you will be amazed on how this will help you handicap some games...

How can you do that? The only thing I can guess is what the spread will be.

Right on, Viejo. I start as early as Sunday night or Monday. If I see something really attractive, I'll lay down 1/2 unit on it. If the injury/weather report during the week goes against me big time, I can always back it off.

I like to try and figure how the lines have been tweaked to foil teasers and try to find a edge from that.

By the way I start looking at them on Monday morning.
