Killer rib recipe?

Well they were freakin' fantastic, but a little too "fall off the bone" for me. I couldn't even pick up a rib and bite the meat off it, the bone just slipped out. I know some like that but I like a little tug to it. I attribute it to over-baking.

Overall 8/10 on my first try with this method, and the wife would say 10/10 cause she likes to eat her ribs with a fork.

Flavor was out of this world though and I got the char just right.

happy wife, happy life.... glad yall had a good valentines dinner together...

you had your heat too high at 325 for 4 hrs. Drop it to 225 and you will be good to go

My family owns 2 restaurants and we do the slow cooking method. People love em!


yes i cooked them in alto shams (slow cooking ) but i rubbed bbq sauce into them before cooking
yes, they will fall right off the bone

also cook the prime ribs in the alto sham and will be very good

Interesting stuff here.....

Ribs and Pulled Pork are my #2 & 3 after Pizza

Most of the time when i want good Ribs, I just go out to eat them.
We have a pretty good place here on Long Island called Smoking Al's. Best BBQ in the area.

Even Friday's has good Ribs.

But Will have to try some of the things posted here. I'm a Big BBQ guy... where I even grill in the Winter.
