Im very curious to hear the thoughts of those who are atheists or dont believe in a higher maker.
Does that mean we are merely just another animal & nonmore important than the next??
Should an almost extinct animal (the gorilla in this case) live over an over overpopulated animal (the kid in this case) ??
I'm prolife but I've come to accept abortion is the law of the land and I think it should be legal for all adults without question in the first trimester
It should be banned without question in the third trimester, when the child can survive outside the womb (except when the mother's life is in real jeopardy)
what sickens me is the callous attitudes many express with respect to late term abortions, our president even espouses and condones infanticide (not giving a baby fighting for it's life medical attention is OK in his world, sick vile human being)
'Should an almost extinct animal live over an over populated animal (human ) ?
The day that does becomes norm? You don't want to be on planet earth . Won't happen tho , as retards don't last long in positions of power . They certainly can do a lot of damage short term

We see eye to eye in this matter Willie...
2 weeks ago I paid for an abortion for a girl I dated 2 months ago... no future with her whatsoever, I told her I honestly thought it was better if we had an abortion but in the end it was her choice. Terrible situation either way but a decision was made and we no longer have to worry about changing our current living situation.
Oh yes you are right.
Im just curious to hear the opinions of those who believe there is no higher power & that all living things on the planet came by chance.
I'm assuming the belief is that one living creature is no better than the next, and you save the one who's almost extinct over one which is plentiful...??
really?
then why the fuck does man try so hard to save a fellow human life? why do they give fuck in the neonatal ward? it's barely born, fuck it, you're shit out of luck i'm going to direct my energy to saving this 3yr old goldfish instead
LoLI'm not sure how atheists think & why I'd like to hear from a few.
Based on what ive heard from atheists in the past, I was only assuming that if they believe there is no after-life, and that all life is meaningless in the end, that they might think that way.
Why do you assume atheists think life is meaningless?
Not true at all from the ones I've met

Have heard them say life has no meaning.
I believe right here on this forum actually.
There are God threads here somewhere.
But Justin, if one is an atheist, and believe in no higher power, that we were created by the big bang, and when we die, you die & rot, nothing else, then isn't it logical to have the opinion life is meaningless?
Let's say you have a start & finish line, with birth at 0 years old the start line, and the finish line being death at 100 years.
If one believes there is no after life, and you know absolutely nothing once you die, then does it really matter at what point from start to finish that you die?
If you die at 20yrs old, there is nothing but darkness.
If you die at 80yrs old, are the 60yrs longer you live really relevant when there is still going to be nothing but darkness?
Either way it eventually comes & you dont remember if you lived 20yrs or 80yrs, right?
I dunno im not atheist & was only assuming this is the way some would think...
What's the going rate for an abortion? Hope that nut was worth it.
