Key words " could have lost ". A win is a win and the only time I don't count a win is when it's like when Colorado got 5 first downs against Missouri and they still went on to claim a split National Championship way back when.LSU only played 4 great games all year, every other game they could have lost..they are about the 5th best team IMO nothing special other than a horse shoe up their ass..
Not in the eyes of the voters as that isn't a loss... that's a drubbing ! Take a look at just released AP poll. That pretty much sums up what they thought of 48-7 loss... not the same as 2 double overtime losses obviouslyand a loss is a loss 48-7 is just like 48-47
I agree with you but I have always noticed that the Pollsters always forgive a close win but they always penalize a team when they get drubbed like V. Tech got clubbed by LSU. It may not be right or fair but that is just the way it is. I think Ohio State will crush LSU just like they crushed Florida last year ! How soon We forget that everyone was touting Michigan and Ohio State as easy number 1 and 2 last year and We both know how they both got clubbed in their pathetic bowl attempts last year. This year Ohio State is again number 1 and the result will be the same 1in the eyes of football fans LSU could have lost half of its games!! that is no number one team. they get crushed by Ohio State as it looks like they will get a shot. Lets see. Lets enjoy the bowls!
