freddie anderson single-handedly let the hawks back in the game with
THREE soft goals. the block shots stats is more one-sided than the hits
stat. big difference tonight was the difference in face offs, ducks won 60%.
hard to believe the league allows the goonish ducks to even be in the
playoffs especially with the dirty duo of getzlaff +perry. i feel for all
the hawks fans who have to watch UFC on ice rather than hockey.

reno chazz is correct, the kings losing voynov was critical as their
salary cap situation handcuffed them. the league did them no favours
in cap relief which was outrageous.

BTW this is PLAYOFF HOCKEY not dancing with the stars. calling
the ducks or even the kings goons and dirty is homer sour grapes.

Congrats on the win. I'll admit the Ducks aren't playing as dirty as years past, as they're not taking nearly as many penalties as last years playoffs. Last year their dirty play really hurt them as they took a lot of nasty penalties against the Kings last season, and it cost them the series.

Kings are having more off ice troubles. Stoll got busted smuggling coke into a pool bar in Vegas with a bunch of other team mates.

the trouble with winning is that makes for a long tough season, causes salaries
to rise putting teams close to the cap, and influences personel decisions as GMs hate
to break up a winning formula. that is what prevents dynasties in todays NHL.
the ducks are better now due to those tough game 7 losses against the kings and red wings.
they are also MUCH deeper now and more disciplined due to the maturing of the dirty
duo of perry and getzlaff.

BTW look at the 2nd ducks goal tonight, it was caused by the hawks d man getting
rid of the puck too quickly to avoid a hit thus creating a turnover.

um, wouldnt put the meltdown solely on anderson; despres was a SHIT SHOW on the Blackhawks 3rd goal. Good grief. The sum is better than the parts on that defense. No doubt, Anderson has seen better days

not sure if Ryan saw Matt to his left, gotta believe he did. None the less, if intentional, great shot LOW to the stickside pad by Ryan-- allows for high probability of a juicy rebound. If ya can't make the pass and no open corner, THAT is your play.

well done ryan

No way......I disagree.......Perry and Getzlaf are 2 of the best players in the NHL.....Both are in the top 6 in the league.

GB your missing something out east these guys are very greasy - Perry more than Getz - You can through Kessler in there too...

Seabrook and Keith aren't exactly angels - It's a physical sport and stuff happens - I could believe last nights game - Chicago down 3 buzz and 4-2 with 2 minutes to go and then tie it only to to have Bickell make bone head play in 30 seconds in to OT.

Where has that guy been all series he should be knock ducks over he fancies himself a bit of goal scorer after last year.

Calling hockey players by their first name in casual conversation comes off as pretty gay. Just so you know.
