Kentucky Derby trip

Just made room reservations for this year's Kentucky Derby. Will be staying in Sellersburg Indiana. Can anyone recommend good places to eat or to just hang out for a cocktail or two?

First one's for you! Was afraid I would have to miss the Derby this year but things worked out at the last minute. Have been going since 1981 (Pleasant Colony, 9-2) and would have hated to miss this year.

You've been going to the derby for 23 years...(Was afraid I would have to miss the Derby this year but things worked out at the last minute. Have been going since 1981 (Pleasant Colony, 9-2) and would have hated to miss this year.).... but you need to ask for local information on what to do at the derby? What did you do for the first 23 years?

thanks for asking. Sorry if you did not take the time to read my original post. If you have time, you can look back and see that my request for info is specific to Sellersburg IN, which happens to be where we will be staying this year.

Actually, I could write several books on "What to do at The Derby", but thanks a lot for asking, my friend.

Now, if anyone has specific info regarding Sellersburg Indiana, I would be most appreciative.
