I am leaving an opening for #10 Firing Line to screw this up.
Firing Line is being ridden by Gary Stevens, 52 years old, another 3x Kentucky Derby winner 1988 1995 & 1997. If the Old Man can beat me so be it.
At 8-1 odds it feels like some bettors think the ole man & Firing Line have more of a chance than I would have expected them to think he does, 8-1 surprises me. I'd've thought 12-1.
Worried about #3 Materiality mainly though...then #2 Carpe Diem then #19 Upstart...
...wish I could be more worried about #5 Danzig Moon 20-1 but just feel he ain't got enough to be there at the end vs. the power of Dortmund.

Medomak whose dad (Keen Ice's Grandfather) was Awesome Again, Canadian hall of Fame Horse & a Breeder's Cup winner in 1998 and also the first Breeders' Cup Classic winner to sire a winner of that race when Ghostzapper won the Classic in 2004.
On that same day in 2004 Awesome Again had another son named Wilko win the Breeders' Cup Juvenile as a 28-1 long shot after just coming over from England and in his first run on dirt, making Awesome Again the first Breeders' Cup winner to sire two Breeders' Cup winners on one day.
