...can anyone give me a single reason to lay off the Wildcats in this game? It isn't so much a bet for Kentucky as it is against Vanderbilt. I'm looking at taking Kentucky for the exact same reasons I'm looking at Houston over Army tomorrow.
The Wildcats aren't great, but they've shown they're capable of blowing out the awful teams (like Mississippi State and Indiana...and Vandy certainly falls into the awful category). I don't think the Wildcats will still be bummed about the Arkansas marathon two weeks ago; in fact, they may want to get back on the field ASAP and take their frustrations out on someone because of it. Enter Vanderbilt...the worst team in the SEC.
Vandy just flat out sucks from top to bottom. Not a very scientific analysis, but you can't say much else about them. 8 straight losses, no conference wins. Nothing really points to this being a competitive game...I'm seeing a final score of something like Kentucky 41, Vandy 13.
Thoughts?
