(Media-Newswire.com) - According to reports, Ken Shamrock has suffered an injury before his worldwide televised fight with Kevin "Kimbo Slice" Ferguson less than 24 hours before the bout is scheduled to be broadcast on TV. A replacement was still being sought at this time.
The Slice vs. Ferguson MMA fight was to be the main attraction of the EliteXC card to be broadcast from Florida on October 4, 2008.
Shamrock, who has not won in four years, was hoping for a comeback against Slice.

En entrevue à CKAC, le président de TKO Stéphane Patry a annoncé que "le fou", Kimbo Slice, pourrait être un des prochains adversaires du Québécois Steve Bossé.

Kimbo Slice, reconnu pour être "The King of the Web Brawlers" pour ses performances rendues célèbres sur Youtube, est l'un des combattants les plus crains du monde des arts martiaux mixtes. Il a déjà vaincu Tank Abbot, entre autres.
Il affronte ce soir Ken Shamrock, "The World's Most Dangerous Man".
Reste à voir si Steve Bossé réussira à obtenir un combat contre cet énergumène et si cet affrontement pourra avoir lieu à Montréal.

I think that you hit it on the head. I bet "someone" went to Shamrock's hotel room last night with an envelope asking him to take a dive. He probably has enough money and wants to fight again and told them to fuck off.
I was wondering if EliteXC finally figured out that when Shamrock beat Kimbo that the WHOLE ORGANIZATION would fall apart. CBS would drop this shit.
I don't think that any real MMA fighters take Kimbo seriously otherwise he would be fighting UFC.

Slice (3-0) instead will go up against former UFC fighter Seth Petruzelli, a light heavyweight with a professional record of 9-4. Petruzelli was slated to face Aaron Rosa on an undercard match.
The Petruzelli match was in doubt until the last minute, as according to several sources, Slice’s handlers demanded a considerable amount of extra money to agree to the new opponent.

Shamrock, 43, was doing a light training session in his hotel this morning and accidentally was head-butted by Dan Freeman, a longtime training partner. It reopened a prior cut in his forehead, and required six sutures in his eyebrow.
Frank Shamrock, Ken’s adopted brother, is on site to announce on the CBS broadcast. The former UFC and Strikeforce champion volunteered to take the fight on no notice, but he is a middleweight who is coming off a broken arm in his last fight.

Wow! I semi-know Seth through a mutual friend. Seth is friends with "Icey" Mike who is Kimbo's money man. He is also the guy from all those porn sites like "inthevip". I have been out with both of them in Miami. I would have to guess Seth is taking a dive and Kimbo will look good. Any lines up?
I am 99% sure that Seth and Kimbo have spared before and even 90% sure Seth is even in one of the "inthevip" videos with kimbo. I talked to my friend who is good friends with Seth and how I somewhat know him and him and he just found out also, but has has not been able to get a hold of Seth. FIX is in and I would bet my fucking house on it if I could.
