No offence meant and GL with your research .i saw your point ,just thought that tracking or "paper betting" for tracking purpose will make more sense than actually betting on both teams even the match is in 2 different systems you are testing,your money,your call,no problem and thanks for sharing.

No problem Betting 4 Fun...but I never said I was wagering on these systems either.

I use Wagerline to track the streak system as if it was real money...and they keep the record for me. It saves me a lot of time to do it that way.

Perhaps thats where the confusion comes in.

I wouldn't bet $500 on a baseball game...and I didn't mean to imply that I would.

$500 is the maximum wager at Wagerline...thats whats I have to use for this system.

As I said in the first post...its all relative...you can drop off the zero's and its a $5 max system. Thats probably how I will play it if it comes to life here.

For both systems....$500 is the base wager or 1 unit.

Wagers are on a sliding scale that never exposes us to more than the base wager of $500 at -120 or $600 max exposure. The same applies to dog wagers in reverse.

We use less exposure to try to maximize the wager near the maximum wager of $500 with $600 as maximum to win.

Its my way of using strict money management...I don't care if anyone agrees with it or not. :missingte

MR MJ......If you are playing the streak system what is the logic behind not playing a team with 3 wins vs a team on a 3 game losing streak? Seems like that should be a double play.

Good question...

First of all...its not like I think this is some kind of "killer system" or anything. I'm tracking it out of curiousity more than anything.

I friend of mine on another forum did this in the 2005 season and it worked very good that year....up over 30 units at one time late in the season...so I was just curious to track it again...too bad I didn't start at the beginning of the year.

Long story short...I think the logic is faulty to "double" the play...its one thing to ride a streak...but two streak teams meeting do not make it twice as likely for a win. At best its just another play....or there might be a reason not to play it all. Maybe winning streak teams have a tendency to let down against a streaking loser...or the odds get skewed too much in this situation.

My experience watching the 2005 streaks system is that double wagers on two streak teams meeting was a very bad bet. I'm just assuming it still is.

I've decided to still play a winning streak against a losing streak team...but I don't think a double wager is necessary...too much risk when you start doing that. IMO.
