The Cleveland Browns have pulled off a bombshell of an offseason move. The Browns have signed running back Kareem Hunt.
<twitter-widget class="twitter-tweet twitter-tweet-rendered" id="twitter-widget-2" data-tweet-id="1095034021631926273" style="box-sizing: inherit; width: 550px; position: static; visibility: visible; display: block; transform: rotate(0deg); max-width: 100%; min-width: 220px; margin-top: 10px; margin-bottom: 10px;"></twitter-widget>
Hunt was the NFL’s leading rusher as a rookie in 2017 for the Kansas City Chiefs, but he ran into serious trouble when a video of an assault in a Cleveland hotel was captured on video and heavily publicized. The Chiefs quickly released him.
Hunt currently remains subject to discipline from the NFL, the extent of which is not determined.

Lol that sounds like something the browns would do

Especially when they already have a more talented RB on the roster

Before being cut by the Chiefs, K. Hunt was in the NFL MVP discussion. How can you say Chubb is more talented than an MVP type RB?

That's a system thing. Every andy Reid rb does well. They were using a third string guy by the end of the year and he was tearing it up

It will be very interesting to see where he goes in fantasy football.

Browns will go back to being the Browns next year regardless. Great team to fade in 2019

Will need to know the NFL penalty first. Assuming it's nothing (which it likely wouldn't be) he'll go in the second round.

Unlike the poster who preceded me I'm expecting the Browns to win that division next year.

If he goes second round where does Chubb go?

Before this move most experts had chubb as a first round pick

Chubb was the 14th ranked back in our league. I'd say that he was a disappointment. I expected more. Hunt is more versatile. I don't think that Cleveland is bringing him and his baggage in to backup Chubb. Why suffer that scar for a backup? Just my opinion.

Maybe they're both devalued to the 4th - 5th round.

Guess I didn't rank Chubb properly. Carlos Hyde started the first 6 games for the Brownies before being traded to Jacksonville. If you give his points to Chubb that would make Chubb rank 6th in our league, after Ezekiel Elliot and before Melvin Gordon and James Connor. Pretty good indeed.

yup, they have that look of a team everyone suspects to break out...like the jags...but too much chaos within the entire organization to think they produce any more than 5-6 wins

How could he be a disappointment if he started the year as a backup, drafted on average round 14 in fantasy leagues, and ended as a top 15 back?
