What about the QB situation? And what about Mangino's tirade?

This is the 2nd oldest rivalry in college sports. These 2 teams DESPISE each other. Mizzou has the talent to POUND the Hawks at home and avenge last year's embarrassment in Lawrence, but Longhorns should have pounded the Hawks as well.

To be honest, Hawks seems to be playing with more fire right now. Mizzou and Brad Smith's golden boy season are down the tubes, and they seem to be fighting amongst themselves right now. I would say that Mizzou has thrown in the towel, but they will NEVER give up against KU.

After all this, I still don't know what to think of this game.....scrappy KU team playing with SCOUT SQUAD QB or disullusioned, angry Mizzou team playing not to lose to hated rivals. I guess I would take the points in what is sure to be a dogfight. GL

Ace,

Also, in KC, and also agree with taking the Hawks. MU is a mess right now. And KU's ATS record is superb. Went to the KU/Texas game expecting KU to get rolled, and they fought and outplayed the Longhorns the whole game. Not to mention, with their 3rd and 4th string quarterbacks. Say what you what about Mangino, but he has that program heading in the right direction. Tough to say that about Pinkel and MU. Brad Smith's father recently called into local talk radio stations talking about the players disdain for Pinkel. Furthermore, Missouri backers don't get to excited if MU gets out to a large first half lead. They have had major collapses in the second half versus Oklahoma State and Kansas State. This line opened at 7 and is now up to 10. I will wait until game time, and hope that the line continues to rise, and take KU plus the points. Best of luck whichever side you are on.

What this game tells me that there is a tremendous betting opportunity next week. Being a Mizzou fan, I can say flat out they have packed it in for the year. Iowa State may be the best bet on the board next week and should be bet early and hard. BOL.

That game was a classic game of what is difficult to "handicap" in college football. Missouri has better stats, better talent, KU was on their 4th string quarterback, starting tailback out, etc. But MU has and is a mess. Mangino (and I am not a KU homer) does a hell of job. Big 12 North is in Iowa State's hands. Wish I would have bet that one- I'm sure those odds would have been great. By the way, did anybody else listen to Mark May close to half time talking about Bob Stoops should be paying more attention to his game plan, than "us". Because he thought OU was in jeopardy of losing the game. OU then went on to roll 35-0. :WTF: . Anyway, I am gonna ride that SD Chargers train tomorrow until it falls off the tracks! GL!:BASCKET:
