Thanks cubsfan. I shoulda played moneyline. But I’ll take the push. Let’s hope I get the second one, sorry if that means a cubs loss.
Cubs are tough to figure out this year. Starting pitching has been pretty solid, bullpen has been mostly good, and they've scored a lot of runs, but many of those have been in blowout wins. They strike out too much ( could say that for most teams though ), and have been shut out in several games, including two losses to Milwaukee last week. They scored all three runs this afternoon on two out RBI hits, which is a situation they've done poorly in this year. Would hate to see them get swept today, but if it happens, I'll take some solace in knowing you got a win. Cubs season and postseason hopes probably come down to more consistent hitting, and getting Darvish back and pitching well. If they're fortunate enough to make the World Series, it will be an uphill battle for them or anyone else in the NL. Yankees, Red Sox and Astros are clearly the top three teams in baseball this year. I'll gladly take the World Series win, but Torres looks like a superstar in the making for the Yankees.
