I don't get it. They are 12-17 on the road, in the midst of a 3 game losing streak and 1-9 in their last 10. They got an old vet on the mound who had bad outing in 3 of his last 4 starts against a guy who has had 8 quality starts in a row. Yet they get hammered up to -150 from -120s earlier. I know they might on paper be more talented than the Brewers, but why don't most people just say I am going to let them ride out this losing run and back them some other time when they are playing decent ball?

I am gueesing you have bettors chasing on NYY. After losing the first two games to the Brewers, bettors probably just bet whatever they had left on the NYY not to get swept. Had the NYY been swept, you would of had posters saying that they were through betting baseball I'm sure.

A lot of people have a tough time believing that the Yankees are as bad as they are. They have a hell of a bandwagon, and apparently also a quite stubborn one.

Courtesy bump for a post that noticed the spankees should either be avoided or faded.

Randy Johnson steps up to the mound tomorrow to prevent a sweep by the Mets. Opened at-200 but now a bargain at only -188.

Didn't he bomb on his last outing?

I'm betting the Mets now. Realize if Pinella hadn't let that pitcher rot Wed, the yanks would have been swept by Tampa?

It's free money tomorrow.

The yankees are always an inflated line. Even if i like them in a game, i almost won't bet them anymore

i hate to say this because im a big benson fan but pls wait until gametime to make your wager on the mets.

90% of the people believe the yankees are the play on sunday and you shouldnt fight the tide.

there is no way the yankees get swept LOL, so wait until 7:45 and pick up +210

however if you want to back the yankees and you can find -200 id grab it now because that wont be available come gametime but i think you knew that already

The NYY Over/Under Win Total opened 103 at Pinnacle. I did not take advantage of the free money. Thought the NYY were at least going to come close to 100 wins. Not now, they suck. Bernie Williams reminds me of Willie Mays circa 1973 when he played for the Mets.

Dont fret it Sims for I am sure you have made some money fading the Spankees massive chalk all season. How in the hell did they lay heavy chalk to Glavine Sat and even money to Pedro Friday? Maybe a pass tomorrow with all this negative posting. The fact that Wildbill original thread only got 2 replies got my attention...thus it deserved a bump this evening.

Dawoof, It boggled my mind how Henn who has been terrible was bet up to -140 against the Mets. Its insane. I am taking the Mets on the run line Sunday night. Hell, I think the Mets might sweep this 207 million dollar bunch of over the hill bums.

Spankees or not, when bucsfan gives out play of day I must follow.

I followed bucsfan with NYY -1.5 +104 Sunday evening.

Since I had to puke prior to making the play solidifies that once again bucsfan has the winning side.
