This thread confirms it for me, Doc's sports makes things up.
Below is a recent email discussion I had with them. I was not going to post it until I just read their bio on Ace-Ace:

First thank you for your response and comments and I agree with your %’s.<O></O>
We will also be sending you a copy of our publication for your review.<O></O>

When I see things like:
The 2006 season is here and we at Doc's Sports are on top of everything that is involved with MLB picks. Vince, our MLB man; has been with Doc's 15 out of our last 35 years in business. Vince is in the office seven days a week and has become well known as one of the best, in handicapping baseball. For those of you who like numbers - the last six years alone his baseball picks had a Weekly Top Game record of 102-56 and his Game of the Month is a solid 32-10. it reads as false advertising to me and turns me away.<O></O>
<O> </O>
Our records are 100% accurate. These are only our top game of the week and game of the month record. Our seasonal record is closer to the mid to high 50% record each season. Many of our customers and readers are only interested in top games and we do very well with top game so that is why we mention this. It’s in no way false advertising. We’ve been in business for 35 years and have a lot of clients that come back and use our service year after year because of our great reputation with in the industry. We would not keep this reputation or our clients if we did any false advertising. Some fly by night operations may do this but we never will. <O></O>
<O> </O>
. Either that or the games were games that were around -300.<O></O>
<O

None of our games are -300 type plays. In fact it’s rare to see a play that’s over the -135 mark. Most of our picks are small favorites or slight underdogs. <O></O>
<O> </O>
If someone is 32-10 over nearly 4 years on games of the month, there is no reason to sell picks - just bet them<O></O>
<O> </O>
First I don’t see why you fell this number is so unimaginable for someone who does this day in and day out. Next, Why would you say there is no reason to sell them – just bet them? Our business is selling picks. There are 1000’s of people out there who want to purchase picks from a reputable company because they don’t have the time to handicap the games but still want to enjoy the experience. This is entertainment for them and hopefully they will make a little money as well. My stock broker does and incredible job for me and has done well even in some bad markets. Should he stop selling his services and just “bet” his own picks as well? Should every financial advisor just look after themselves as well? This makes no sense to me. We do bet our own picks but why do you feel we should stop running our business? <O></O>
<O> </O>
Anyway, you have your opinion and we respect that but when it comes to integrity <O></O>
We would never do anything to ruin a reputation that we’ve worked so hard to develop.<O></O>

Thank you for taking the time to get back to us and sorry for the late response, <O></O>

Hello,
You may send a schedule to:
Sean ____
Your site looks great.
My only criticism would be I don't see any documentation of the picks that determine the records - few sites have them with SSB and Fezziks being the only two I know...
An excellent capper is glad to hit 54%. 54% long term turns you into a millionaire. 60%, although impossible, turns you into a billionaire.

Those are my only thoughts. I prefer to see 550-480 than 500-100.... I am sure the general public prefers the 500-100.
