I take bets for a local on from time to time. I offered a Jbl on here an option since he had just lost his bookie. I explained to him that he was on a 500 dollar limit. I also explained to him That payouts are on wed and thursdays. Okay no problem first week he is + 400 dollars. The next week he he loses 220. So he is still positive 180. I Have no problem with the guy. He has sent me email after email wanting to know where his money is. I told him in a email that his settle amount is 500. Up or down the settle is 500. I did mis inform him that he would be payed the first week. He however had not reached his settle amount. Im posting this because he has continued to send me messages saying that if i dont get this shit right he is going to out me on the boards. I respect the guy and like the guy. I do not have anything to do with payouts but gladly take bets for the local guy. Again im not saying this to bash jbl but instead of being "outed" im outing my self. Below is the email i recieved.


Aren't payouts done on Wednesday's and Thursday's you told me? What's the deal Travis? I'm about to spread the bullshit you've put me through on this whole thread. Jag already knows. Not what the problem is ?? If the Settle Amount is $500, and he Never got to that amount...No need to Pay

I will disagree here, as Why see a guy for $180 ? Waste of time and Money.

Also, I think in this case...the two involed are not in the same city.
So a Settle amount should be in order, if they have to Mail the money back and forth.

If you clearly explained to the guy that 500 was the settle amount either way...I would pay and say nice doing business with you...if he is threatening to out you on the boards for 180, you don't want him anyway. But if you are down 2 dimes and betting 100-200 a game...he should get it

My guys have settle amounts, but if they are up they can receive their payouts at the beginning of any week regardless of their figure. Sometimes a guy just needs his cash whatever the amount is.

There must be a settle amount, both parties must agree on.

I tend to agree with you also, but the terms were unclear in the beginning, I would have settled the first week 400 dollar figure, and made damn sure he knows damn well from here on out the settle figure is 500 either way.

Never got into the Long Distance customer thing. Always told agents not to get into that habit.
