I cant imagine to think what that group of kids could accomplish if they all stayed in school. I think their youth hurt them tonight but that is only natural. A kid like Napier not only has the skill but the experience to handle any situation he finds himself in. Great win for UConn and a great run for Kentucky..

Cal would love to have these kids come back and coach them again, but he will NEVER hold a kid back and give bad advice if they can better their family.

I kinda think Cal is getting tired of starting from scratch every year

I think he is as well. Tired of the fans. UK fans are never happy.
It gives true fans like me a bad rep.

What Cal has done is simply amazing my mind. Taking all these freshman every year and molding them into a team. Not many coaches can do that and be successful. He has 3 final fours in the last 4 years.

He looks worn out. Coaching at Kentucky subtracts years off your life. It's not an easy thing.

Has to be draining to start over every year, i really like this group of freshman he has more for what they showed me as individuals. They can all play ball but i think they have maturity beyond their age. They could be a very special group if they stuck it out in school. I dont see a kid that can step on the nba floor next year and contribute big numbers, they would all be better served to stay in school.

if he's so tired of doing it then just stop going after the players that he know's are going to go for 1 year and leave.....there's plenty of other freshman out there that with his great basketball mind he could coach for 3 or 4 years and maybe even win a couple back to back championships.....but he always goes after the elite of the group and he knows they are 1 and done...but as long as he wins his 25 to 30 games he's happy but the school won't be if he keeps losing the big one

He has gone after other non "top talent" and they still left.
Just look at his first year. Eric Bledsoe and Daniel Orton should not have left. They weren't considered "one and done" , yet they had good years and they needed money to help financially for tier family. Bledsoe was living out of his moms car in high school.

He has several players from this team that aren't one and done and will be back. He has 2-3 comin in next year that weren't "top tier" and should be around for a few years.

Calipari a first year hurt him in that regards. The roster was horrible when he came in an he needed players badly. He went after the best who could make an immediate impact. They left and he had to start over. He has tried to get 4 year players, but now they feel like they will be recruited over so they transfer (Harrow, Wiltjer etc ... )

well, if some of the one and done's did stick around, some of the other one and done's would have had to attend some other school :)

CBB is a year round job, made even more difficult if you need a new roster every year

and every year starting from scratch has to suck, never having a coach on the court doesn't help

Bragg your right he does get a few of those no names to fill his quota that he's allowed that year but if he'd get all the ones he goes after there wouldn't be enough BB's to play with is all I have been trying to say here really...yes he's going to end up with with probably 1 of the top 5 win loss records before he retires and maybe under all of that 1 and Done shit he might even be an average coach...but a lot of the big name coach's take just as much pride in their graduation ratio as they do on their wins and loss's....do they go after the blue chip top players???? YES..but I feel they tell them there is tradition at that school too to graduate....does everyone of them do that I say yes maybe they need to finish a year but they go when the time is right...CKID said it best McAdoo to him is not ready but Mc thinks he is so he's going early a lot do....Cal look's just for them and he don't stand in their way so he can use that scholarship on someone who might be a lot better out there this year......I wish they would they would make them all stay longer it would be better for the athlete and the NBA!!!!!
