Duke +30 1/2. Seminoles tanked last week, BCS hopes evaporated. Now QB controversy, season pretty much wasted. Live dog Duke has new passing QB, fairly balanced offense. Bowden not into showing polls anything at this juncture, even if he could. Team will not quit on him, but do not foresee 100% effort either. NC State road tilt on tap. Duke hangs tough in another Seminole flat effort. Or has it been a flat season?

Well could not resist hedge with Seminoles -16 2nd half. Barely 20% of original value back, with a 19-30 Nole win hitting both. Rails would be 18, 31 if you got the 31. 16 was at Oly. To be honest, looks like a loser as Noles have no 3rd down conversions, 0-9. No TD's. Only reason I cameback at all was 12 point middle. Go Blue Devils!!!

Nope, not time for that, NBA awaits me. Saturdays are my longest days by far. Looking at a 16 or double shift today. Hope my OT is profitable. Blue Devils just the opening act. I would not bet on first quarters, because of coin flip and possession gained from it. Lot of college teams defer. Better spots out there. Next, it is tough to bet a against, off a subpar half, favorite at home. Obviously all the value was earned in the first half, results -2. Like a 2 TD winner. But more often than not, the home favorite gets their act together. It could be argued I was throwing value away, by taking the Noles in the second half. Reducing an already valued position. That is a valid argument. This time I cashed, next time may pay. And you do pay if it blows and you do not earn 100% The mascot paid his way today. My spiny friend may have an extended stay from earning. Save the celebrations for later...
