I am surprised it came out at this number.. sc is not that good at all, but I realize in a rivalry game records are thrown out/etc.

Normally these are the type games that UGA shits the bed in
I was thinking the same thing. Very flaky team..This is a do or die for SC. Lose this game and they are out of the running just 3 games into the season. Two SEC losses and a tiebreaker loss to Georgia. I don't see the Cocks going quietly into the sunset..They'll fight tooth and nail in this game.

I'm a South Carolina fan and we have looked very bad the first two games, both against spread offenses and both against very accurate, quick release quarterbacks. Georgia is a more conventual type power offense which I think we match up well with. Plus, people are basing this game on one really good quarter Georgia played against Clemson, which we don't know much about yet. I think our offense can put up some points against Georgia and if we can make the qb beat us we have a chance. We seem to always play Georgia good at home and this will be their qb's first road start. Not saying we win or cover but just don't think this game is as easy as it appears! Good luck either way!

Totally agree B.R, thinking of running a pair of correlated parlays. UGA and Over today and S. Car and under on SAT b/c this line will go to 7 easy with the total climbing maybe too

I'm not saying we (SC) are going to win because we have looked like shit, but UGA has played one game against Clemson and it was 3 point game at the start of the 4th quarter. Looking at the final score makes it look like UGA cremated them. Several of my friends, all Carolina fans, have already bet UGA. None of them think we have a chance. I really hope this line climbs to 7.5ish. I will be taking my boys for the upset.

First thoughts when I saw the line, "Is this a freaking joke, or the trap of the week!!!"

-SC can't tackle and are scared to lay the hit on someone. Granted, they cut the missed tackles in half last week, but they also outweighed ECU by 50+ lbs. per lineman. The SEC school comes back to town this week.

-Lammons and Harris Jr. played a lot better last week. The middle of the field was open due to poor safety play from Moody and the LBs not dropping back to take it away. Brison Williams needs to be moved back to his safety spot, then they may have a chance at a decent Defense.

-SCar HAS TO TACKLE against Georgia. If not, Gurley could go all Darren McFadden on them again. They seem scared to tackle to me, and these wimpy arm tackles aren't gonna get the job done here.

-SCar always seems to play Jawja tough, especially at home. Davis and Co. are gonna need a good game to take some pressure off of Dylan as he's gonna be scared to death again, and throwing everything high, which will result in a pick or two.

It's very hard not to pound the shit out Georgia here, but the line tells me SCar loses by 3, or somehow pulls the upset (which is almost like a miracle to me right now).

We, UGA, usually shit in the bed in Columbia. Its been 10 freaking years since we have thrown a TD....seriously 10 years since we have a passing TD.

If you can't throw a passing TD on these CBs, then you can't throw a passing TD on anybody. Hurts to say it sometimes, but the truth is the truth.

juat get Gurley outside and in the open field and he should have a field day.

This game smells funny to me. Opened at 3.5 at the Wynn, now up to 6. Everyone saw SC get blasted by A&M and UGA blow up one quarter and beat Clemson badly. Obvious thing to do is bet UGA.

But, this is the same UGA team that lost to Nebraska in the bowl game and was down 20-0 and had to score a late TD to beat Ga Tech them last regular season game. Are they really now a top 10 team?

Don't play this game on teams or situations of the past. I have found those to be very unreliable in predicting the game at hand. New players, new season. What most impressed me about Georgia was how well they ran against a very good front 7(which also has depth) of Clemson, and that they dominated the 2nd half so completely. South Carolina didn't exactly take care of business vs. ECU, and that's without Vintavious Cooper and a weaker defense than their 2013 team. SC will give a great effort at home, but will it be enough? I like that Georgia had a bye and faces Troy next week. They'll be focused and rested. If this was a late season game among a bunch of other conference games, SC might win. If Connor Shaw was QBing, they might also win.

The UGA D dominated the whole second half. Especially the 4th as you said. -19 yards in the 4Q means they laid down or UGA halftime adjustments were nothing short of spectacular. We saw the same with Oregon and MSU last week.

You obviously don't know the injuries that UGA had last year. Who cares what a team did in a bowl game last year?

You my friend are correct. I wrote in another thread this game stinks of 2008 with a stacked UGA team playing a down SC team. Bottom line is Spurrier has UGA number. I won't touch the game, but gun to my head you play UGA under 6. No play at 7. SC catching more than a TD. We should learn a lot about UGA this weekend.
