So a few of the salesmen where I work were talking in the office next to mine. One of them was telling a "funny" story about his friend who had a cocker spaniel for years. He kept it in a tiny fenced in yard. Never bathed it, never gave it any attention whatsoever, never took to the vet, never let it out of the cage at all. Just threw some cheap dog food and water back there once every few days. This went on for years. I heard him telling the other guys the dog was so filthy that dirt and mud was caked to its body. So eventually the guy who owns the dog realizes its old and he doesn't want it anymore. So he called the pound and told them a stray dog jumped his fence. The pound game and picked the dog up and euthanized it. They were all laughing about how their friend said the dog was crying and looking back at him sad as they took him away. They said this was "some funny shit".

I'm sick to my fucking stomach and wishing some horrible things on these people right now.

I would treat him like shit for the rest of the days I knew him. I would make his life so shitty at work he would quit. I would poach his sales, fuck with his food and coffee, lock him in the bathroom, sign him up for telemarketing, fax and email campaigns, and thats just off the top of my head.

What pisses me off too is that there are plenty of people who would have been happy to take that dog in so it could at least live its senior years in peace

Some years later..we had our first child..(and our dog nipped @ our new baby in the face, had to put her down (sad)

Our dog got jealous, sad day...the wife @ I still talk about that dog...hmmm

Sounds like either you work with a bunch of sociopaths or you told the story and left something out?
