I didn't even know they permitted to advertise on US radio stations. Have heard plenty of tout services advertise on this station over the years, 97.5 The Fanatic in Philadelphia but haven't heard a offshore book advertisement in years. The book was Mybookie.LV which is actually Mybookie.ag.

Any offshore book advertising on radio or TV is probably shady.....

BetOnSports use to advertise at Miami Hurricanes college football games & would fly banners at the games until they went down.......they were also very shady not paying a lot of winning bettors, including Billy Walters.

Big difference advertising at a stadium versus a radio station. FCC licenses can always be pulled for violations. I would think it is a slippery slope taking advertising an offshore book. Tout services can always get around it by saying their selections are for entertainment purposes. It's been a long time since I use to hear Bodog ads on the radio. 97.5 is owned by Greater Media. They have 21 radio stations in the US. A radio license is very valuable in a top 10 market. It's not worth a few thousand dollars in revenue to take spots from a questionable business.

They also stiffed 90% of their employees... around 300 people

MyBookie's review over at SBR says that MyBookie was started by BetOnSports former management.

Now that makes sense......these guys never feared the feds. They would advertise any & all places.

I couldn't believe the money BetOnSports would spend on advertising......I use to receive pamphlets, etc.....from them at least once a week during football & baskets. I'm.assuming books like this need to advertise because they keep stiffing their clients, so they need new fish every week.

Just like touts that advertise all pucks 100% free.......once they got you on the phone, that book tells you the truth. The book can't advertise that customers need to send money, that would be illegal.

Bankruptcy thing - Antigua was supposed to be such a good domicile? What did players get - about $20 on a 1000 balance.

BTW, whatever happened to Geary Kaplan (aka Champion)?
