i remember when i was a kid, how when the phone rang it made one of those shrill ringing sounds like you see in old movies. our phone hung on a wall in the kitchen, and if you wanted to sit down while you talked you often had to ask dad if he could switch chairs because the cord wasn't long enough to reach the next. there was a bulletin board on the wall next to the phone because we couldn't make the phone remember them. there was no music on the phone unless you were holding, and you certainly couldn't depend on it to navigate you through an unknown town! learning how to put the phone between your shoulder and face so that you could multi-task was an impressive talent. the only text message we could do on our phone was the dialing of a phone number. the only pictures you were taking with your phone was the one where you ran from your bedroom to answer the shrill ringing beast because you were afraid of missing an important call, and your mother thought it funny to take a picture as you stood there in the kitchen.

it doesn't seem like it was that long ago.

When I was a kid our neighbors had teenage daughters who had a really long chord that could reach throughout the whole dining room/living room area. I asked my Mom if we could get one of those and she said we couldn't afford one.

Kids today are so spoiled.

Betall, good stuff. Grats on new celly.

Thinking about the env3 myself. Got a flyer in the mail from verizon says I can upgrade to env3 the blackberry storm or the LG Versa at a discount. Env3 seems to easily be the best in the group. Going to call on monday to see if it's worth it or what kind of deal I would get.

Stuck with my crappy LG choclate. Only good thing about it is how rediculously small it is. And of course the verizon network kicks ass. But I want a camera with a flash and some inet function.
