Dante WU would have charged $43 or 8.6% compared to 1.1% via Neteller

Oscar thanks for that info...maybe im missing something here but I cannot see for the life of me why this would be a bad thing the neteller debit...as long as you do not keep a balance on your debit card for more then 30 days no other fees...you can always deposit right back into your neteller from the debit card also

Thanks Dante.....haven't used mine yet.

Just a question....from what account were the fees taken, NETeller or Debit? For example, If I want to withdraw $1000 will I only be able to withdraw $994.50 (fees would have been taken from the debit balance not NETeller). Of course, this assumes the same fee structure as your transaction and that the ATM would distribute coins. I think you know what I'm getting at.

One other question, when you transferred the cash to the debit card was your debit balance $2 less (NETeller fee) or was the entire amount transferred? (Different spin on the first question)

Thanks. I appreciate your help.

Swami, that is the catch 22. Lets say that you send $500 to your neteller debitcard. FIRST, you need to find an atm that allows a atm wothdraw of that amount, most dont allow that much.

Well you cant ask for $500 since they have already taken out $2.00 for the transfer fee and then they will take out some more for hte other fees as well. So you have to deposit about $505-506 to get our $500 usually

Swami...firstly not sure how many Atm's give 1000 but what I did is transfer $6.00 MORE then I needed to my debit card to cover the fees.

If you want 500 transfer 506 that will cover the fees and you will still get your 500

Dante/Playersonly-

Thanks guys. Believe it or not you folks did a better job of explaining this than the NETeller customer service person who had to continually consult what she called her "cheat" sheet.

Dante..
I know this is off the subject.
But, I noticed you're from BROOKLYN.
I was born and raised there.
I tried a PM to you but the site won't allow me.
I'd like to get in touch but i don't know how.
Maybe you can get this PM thing going?

Seems a very good idea to obtain.

I still wonder about security/privacy.

Just withdraw your money the conventional way and the money is in your bank account in 24-48 hours and it is FREE.

bank statement means nothing. That bank has your name on it, is in the US and probably has your social depending on when you signed up with neteller.

It isnt even related to neteller besides the fact that it is the designated bank they use to transfer funds to that utilize an ATM card. Neteller pretty much partnered up with a USA bank to enhance their service.

If you remember paypal had a card too and gave 1.5% back but it was seemlessly linked to your paypal account. There was no transfering to 3rd party for a fee. Of course they were always in the US.

of course! yes taxes...

I think people just worry about having their transfering tools provided by US based companies because they can easily be stopped.
