Just curious, has a previous President elect assembled their staff as fast?

I remember when I worked for Clinton's campain I don't think he announced his cabinet till almost mid December during the 90's. As for the Bush's didn't really pay attenetion. I realize these are critical times however have previous presidents gone this fast in putting together their staff?

It almost seems as the country is focusing on two leaders right now.

btw..weren't you the same person that said this socialist elected president would sink the this recession plagued market? Seems the market thought otherwise the past two days with his economic appointments. I know they're just small rallys and the market isn't going to return based on his decisions in the coming months. There's a shitload of bad numbers that'll continue to flow in for another year. However I do find it funny you only equate the market tanking to anything remotely related to Obama.

Axelrod will be his senior advisor. Kinda like what Rove was to Bush and Robert Gibbs will be his Press Secretary. Like yourself, I can't wait for any books Plouffe, Axelrod or Gibbs will write about their experiences of the campaign.
