Just cleared my 2x (240$) Stars bonus....

But DAMN, 4800 is a LOT of FPP for a part-timer like me.

I ended up grinding the last 2,000 at 1/2 Limit Omaha 8ob, playing 3-5 tables (as many as they had open with 9 players). Very low variance in how I play that game, amazingly few swings, was +/- the 240 the entire time. And very decent FPP rate for a 1/2 game because of the calling stations in limit and low chasers.

I recommend it for anyone who can play tight/aggressive omaha trying to clear a bonus rather than the usual sit n gos.

Im at 515 w almost 1500 to go. O8b works good cus u get big pots and the splits usually keep the swings down. The fastes t way is to get into a full table 5/10 game. these games put out the points fast!!

Yeah PPP, just didn't want to multi table 5/10, the swings could be brutal. Still get a surprisingly good amount of FPPs at the 1/2 with, with essentially no risk.

The beats in Omaha can be so sick, much worse than holdem.

I got dropped in a sng last night, with 2 pair and A2 going to river, ace of spades on river and guy scoops with 2 4 and low spade flush. NOTHING BEFORE THAT.

Sigh. Hang in there. That's why I cleared the bonus at 1/2, tougher to make money but much cheaper on a bad swing.

Made it to 1800 last night.
I want to see what happens this time. Last time i got a bonus from Stars, no shit this is exactly what happened. Im playing and every other hand im cking my points to see if i made it yet cus im less than 5 points away..i ck it and i need 1 more point, at the time i didnt know it wasnt showing the pervious hand yet. So in the middle of the next hand where i have i think 10 10 10 and 1 player in the pot i bet the pot and he shoves. I call and he has AKh on a 10s Ks 8h board. I have about $55 in the pot. Before the Turn is dealt a pop up comes on and tells me i have made my bonus and have recieved $50.00 !!!!!!!
