Just came home from the funeral of the 4 Oakland, Ca police offers.

I just returned from the funeral service of the 4 officers killed on duty last Saturday here in Oakland, Ca. I'm not sure how much you guys know about it around the county. All I can say is I'm returning with a heavy heart and still carry alot of sympathy.

Lemme also say that in a previous thread about police I mentioned something about the police and that it doesn't require anymore than a high school diploma. I take back everything about the stupid comment I made and apologize to anyone I've offended. (including some police friends of mine)

I couldn't believe the out pouring of grief and respect I saw from citizens around the Bay Area and the state. Sure the state politicians made their appearances and speeches, (Schwarzenegger, Feinstien, and state attorney and former Oakland mayor Jerry Brown). But I think the real beauty came from the citizens from Oakland and around the Bay who came together today to mourn the 4 officers. I think we can all say Oakland isn't what the media portrays it to be. And it showed today. I can also speak for it since I did lived there for 3 years before moving elsewhere around the Bay Area.

What struck me the most and will forever stay with me was the massive support of police officers from all around the country. I saw several units officers from Minneapolis, Phillidelphia, South Carolnina, New York, Connecticut, Arizona, and even officers from the Candian Mounties. They all came to pay their respects. To be quite honest, it was beautiful. The Oracle Arerna was filled to capacity that there was even spill over that attended into the McAffee Colusium to view on the jumbo tron.

I know it will take a long time if at all to heal what has happened. And being the realist I am, I know even a devistating incident like this may not change what happens in the bad sides of the city. But alteast for one day it touching to see everyon come together for this sad day.

I’VE BEEN TELLING YOU ABOUT THE FOUR POLICE OFFICERS WHO WERE SHOT AND KILLED BY A VIOLENT, CRIMINAL MURDEROUS THUG OVER THE WEEKEND IN OAKLAND, CALIFORNIA. WELL NOW IT TURNS OUT THAT THIS VERMIN WAS LINKED BY DNA EVIDENCE TO A RAPE THAT OCCURRED EARLIER THIS YEAR. SO THE STREET SCUM WHO WAS ON PAROLE FOR ASSAULT WITH A DEADLY WEAPON, THE VERMIN WHO SHOT POLICE OFFICERS ERVIN ROMANS, DANIEL SAKAI, MARK DUNAKIN, AND JOHN HEGE WE NOW FOUND WAS A RAPIST AS WELL.

BUT HERE’S THE INCREDIBLE PART OF IT. THE POLICE GOT THE INFORMATION ON THE RAPE ON FRIDAY, THE DAY BEFORE THIS LOWLIFE WENT ON HIS MURDEROUS RAMPAGE. YET ACCORDING TO THE FAILING SAN FRANCISCO CHRONICLE, THE POLICE COULD NOT HAVE ISSUED AN ARREST WARRANT FOR HIM IMMEDIATELY BECAUSE INVESTIGATORS FIRST WOULD HAVE NEEDED TO GATHER ANOTHER SAMPLE OF HIS DNA FOR COMPARISON PURPOSES. IN OTHER WORDS, EVEN THOUGH THEY HAD THE EVIDENCE THAT THIS STREET THUG NEEDED TO BE PUT AWAY, THEY DIDN’T ACT ON IT IMMEDIATELY. THEY KNEW THAT IF THEY DIDN’T PROVE THEIR CASE TEN TIMES OVER THAT SOME RAT LAWYER FROM THE ACLU WOULD FIND A TECHNICALITY THAT WOULD ALLOW HIM TO GO RIGHT BACK ON THE STREET AGAIN. SO THEY WAITED FOR MORE EVIDENCE. AND FOUR POLICE OFFICERS WERE KILLED.

SO ONCE AGAIN WE SEE WHAT THE LAWYERS, THE STREET ACTIVISTS, AND THE ACLU HAVE DONE TO THIS COUNTRY. IN MY OPINION, THEY SHOULD BE CHARGED WITH ACCESSORY TO MURDER. A SOCIETY IN WHICH WOMEN CAN BE RAPED, PEOPLE CAN BE CARJACKED, POLICE OFFICERS CAN BE MURDERED WHILE LEFTISTS HELP THOSE WHO DO IT CANNOT LONG ENDURE. I don't think it was unjustified. Sounded like kids trying to be tough and probably succome to peer pressure. Alot of us have done stupid stunts before and got in fights when we were young. I don't defend the kids. If I was the pizza guy I probably do the same. Doesn't change the fact that a kid is dead and his parent have to deal with it. Sounded like a pretty good kid in general. Just b/c the kid was in the wrong does not exclue the outcome from being tragic.

Michael Savage is funny as hell.

His radio idol Rush Limbaugh also used to routinely flay the ACLU and that pesky 4th Amendment. Until one day when the ACLU played a prominent role in protecting Rush's medical privacy rights and since then nary a peep from the EIB Network about the big bad ACLU.

Perhaps one day Mr Savage will be charged with a felony crime and when the investigators attempt to obtain evidence against him illegally, the ACLU will be there to keep his homophobic butt out of prison.

Glad to see you are wising up there 3peet. How does it make you feel that you voted the same way that all those loons and race baiters that was protesting against the cops.

Next time you go to vote just remember that the way you have been voting is a direct cause of what happened to those cops. SO its your politics that has let this kind of shit happen.
