FWIW, CLE 1-6 vs. starting LHP, scoring just 2.39 RPG which is dead last in the AL. DET sends out a LHP THURS (Maroth).

Again this is just a strong play for me. I am well aware of the stat that you just gave. Maroth will not hold up in this game and thats just my opinion.

Roxy - To answer your question I am still Strong on this play. However, I really like to see starting lineups before I make plays very large. So for now its a normal play, tomorrow when the lineups come up I will upgrade it.

Thanks TomKing for the stat though, that is important for anyone to know who is risking money on this game.

I will be back tomorrow with full analysis of this game, however I want to state one thing for those of you worried about all the runs Detroits Offense put up tonight. 9 of those runs were allowed by Westbrook. Sometimes a pitcher's fastball doesnt cut, and thier curveball doesnt curve and they are just up there throwing batting practice. This is what happened in tonight's game. Cleveland's bull pen came in and gave up just 1 run in 6 innings to this Detroit Offense. However, tomorrow Millwood will pitch into the 7th or 8th inning and the bullpen won't have to work as hard!

Millwood comes into this game without a win on the very young season, but he has pitched VERY well so far and will get the win tomorrow. This game sets up just like the Texas game today. Rogers has been pitching very well, but was also 0-3 however his offense came out strong against Seattle today and he finished things off with a very strong outing.

Come to think of it this game has even more similarites which are just coincidental, but worth mentioning. On Tuesday nights game the Texas offense had 4 solo homeruns, and just about the same number of hits. Tonight they scored 8 runs. In tonights game Cleveland had 3 solo homeruns and just 4 hits, how many will they score tonight. . 5-8 is my guess.

Mike Maroth - Dont let his ERA fool you into thinking this guy is a good pitcher. He has faced Kansas City twice, the first game in which he gave up 5 earned runs in 3.2 innings, and then Minnesota Twice. Both those offenses are nothing special right now and I think you can all agree with me there. Since I have been comparing this game to the texas game, I might as well compare him to Franklin. Both of these pitchers have been overachieving and it will catch up to Maroth the same way it caught up to Franklin last night!! Neither of these pitchers have the stuff to keep pitching the way they have, sooner or later they will get hit and hit HARD. Tonight is Mike's turn.

Ok, I have already gotten into a bit of analysis on this game and I will try to get back tomorrow with a bit more.

One very important reminder. . .This is just a larger then normal play for me, however it is still within strict MM means and I want to emphasize that with everyone else who may follow tonight. I know a lot of people get caught up in phrases like 30 unit GOY or DOCS 40 unit game and things like that, but never should you play out of your bankroll because good games can always lose! Yankees losing to Tampa Bay is a good example. . . (Yes C-LO I know you had TB!!!!!!)

This game has a chance of losing just like anyother game and I dont want anybody losing more then they should on it. However, I feel very confident in this game and I feel that it holds a lot of value especially for the line that we can get it at! Sorry for any grammAr errors in my write-up so far if there are any, its late!!. . .I know Fat Tony is out there watching!!

Good luck to anyone that follows with me! Roxy - Bring me your good luck babe!!
lady luck is here kruser. just rub the butt of the girl in my avatar3 times and say something nice to the roxynation.lmfao..we all know lady luck gets bored easy and gets next to another team all the time. she got bored of the dodgers and they cant buy a win.no need for explainations kruser if you like the tribe no one should come in to say your wrong.that will be proven on the field and not in this thread.best to you..and me:103631605 ~RG

Kruser I love the confidence. I also appreciate how you don't run around claiming to have the ultimate pick. You have convinced me to take a close look at this game. I may not play it but I will look into it to see if I can find reason to back you. This is what I think the forum is about. Posting opinions on certain sides so that others can continue research so as to affirm or negate one's own play. Good Luck!

while you should not be fooled by Maroth's performances there is one thing that is fact. Maroth was 3-0 with a 2.25 era against the Indians last year. This is the year following his 20 loss season. He owns this team and Detroit just hits the ball much better than Clev. I will not be playing this game but I will be rooting for you and everyone that follows. good luck

When a team scores 9 in the first 3 innings many times the rest of the game is on cruise control so the Indian bullpen performance isn't like it was keeping the Indians close so they had a shot last nite. Millwood has pitched well with nothing to show for it just as Westbrook had going into last nites game. The left hander stats vs Cleveland and Maroth's personal numbers is enough to pass on this game alone besides going against a team that is rested from all the rain outs and hitting the ball for 5+ runs a game lately.
But as always I wish you the best Kruser on your Indians play since I'm not on Detroit and you should get a better line closer to game time. I'm looking more at the OVER here as I do many times these teams meet at Jacobs field after I confirm weather tonite.

Alright, I see a lot of you guys disagree with this play today and thats perfectly fine. I posted this play because I have a very good feeling about this game and I wanted to share it. The Indians are a team a bet against and on almost every day during a season and I have a good feel for this team and particular game. I didnt come into this thread claiming all of these huge stats that make this game a 100% guarenteed winner or anything to that extent. I simply have posted that I am making a big play on the Indians tonight and that is it anybody who wants to follow good for them. If any of you think Maroth is a good pitcher then watch and see as the Indians will bring him back to his original form tonight JMO.

Good Luck on all your plays tonight, I hope everyone cashes. . . Except for anyone on the Tigers of course.

i concur with the play fwiw, not on it but think you will win it...

when re-evaluating your system, think more on 2 games and not 3.. anything that you have to be 8-1 on -- just to be even, probably wont work... i stumbled through it last year and was not successful... best of luck on clev and tb, both should be winners...

SHIIIIITTTTT!! Ahaha, Maybe I should cancel the play today! Thanks for the info though CT. I wonder if DOC saw my big play on Cleve today, and called JFS right after he dropped 30,000 on it to his local?

Well guys, just watched 8 runs score in the last 4 innings to ruin my play on the under and also watched Toronto come out on top 3-0 and then lose the game. My last play for awhile is on Cleveland tonight. If that one goes down I am planning on taking a few days off. It has been a very rough past 3-5 days and not just for me, but for a few of the top cappers in this forum. I think it is just best to take a break. . need to clear up the mind and have a fun weekend. So good luck to everyone else on Cleveland with me tonight, but I must warn you. . .the way things have been going for me lately you might want to be careful on this one guys. :sad3:
