Students at a New York City middle school are facing discipline after an eighth grader allegedly sold marijuana-laced brownies to about 20 fellow pupils.
The incident happened at Intermediate School 208 in Bellerose, a suburban section of Queens.
A girl was selling the brownies for $3 each -- or two for $5 -- out of her backpack, according to the New York Daily News.
Nobody got sick, but a student complained to a school official last week.
Department of Education spokeswoman Margie Feinberg called the incident "troubling'' and said children who knowingly ate the brownies will have to face a disciplinary hearing.
Police were brought in and discovered a small bag of marijuana in a school bathroom, but no one has been arrested in either incident.
