Root Boy- Boogie till you puke.
Nighthawks- Pretty girl, a Cadillac, and Some Money.

Loved the Hawks. Got to see them a Georgetown with Muddy Waters. Probably early 80s. Hell of a show. Wayne I remember all of those joints.

Wow. Tommy Keene. Haven't heard that name in years. Never got the recognition he deserved.

Wayne, not familiar with the Kalin Twins. Link Wray, definately. Played with Gordon all the time.

That's the most common refrain. In the last two years I've collected about a dozen bootleg recordings of his shows. Here's one his great numbers from the 9:30 club in D.C. (1990)

Here's a cover of "Shake Some Action" from a gig in Paris in 1998

Worked there over 30 yrs ago...when the Tramontes owned it, have not been to GT in years.

Same old shit WT, Chadwicks, 3rd Ed, Tombs, Normans, JP's, Clydes and all the rest of the preppy bullshit places. Great when I was underage, but by the time I was 30 I already had had enough.

Living in DC was cool for the chicks, but my bar tab was $200+ a night and that shit got old fast. We would all go out to dinner and end up with a bill that was easily a grand. When that became common i started to ask myself what was the point of all this...On the flip side you do make a lot more money. Unless your Judge!

LOL!!! Rumors was the lamest place ever, but the chicks loved IT. You are right, easy-easy-easy. I would end up there after my buds would hook me up at the Whale. Bartenders were always my best friends in those days. @)
