not a bad idea Dmmd....last yr the email option was there and almost nobody used it.

I just feel like we're spinning our wheels though with all these questions about every last thing lately ...every last detail seems to be getting raked over....it really should not be that hard to post up to three picks a day and let the chips fall where they may.

I agree it should be kept as simple as possible but we have both seen contest ruin by these sort of things. I dont want the fun taken out of this contest however I am a firm believer that in the last day of the contest ateast someone would do that and ruin it for the rest of us.

I think maybe the last day of each month and the last week of the season would be all the time e-mailed picks would be needed. I'm pretty sure that's what we did last year. I don't think things need to be too gung ho at all.

My two cents on this........: Some of us can't post at certain times of the day for one reason or another. Not having the picks e-mailed at crunchtime gives an edge to those who are able to post at the last second. Contest is supposed to be about picking winners, finding value plays, etc and not about "lurking" which is what we are really talking about.

Soooooo......I would have to say that it's right to make e-mail available on the last day or three of each month.

It doesn't make sense to e-mail the plays unless the player really loses equity by having his plays copied (or faded), so hopefully those not near the top would have the sense to not use e-mail.

We definitely used e-mail at the end of the football contest.....and those of us in it at crunch time may recall that a WHOLE bunch of us were near the top at the end and it really was the only way to make it fly.

Did you get the point about this being about the months end too which is coming up? It's better to tie up loose ends now then to leave a loophole for someone to maybe take advantage of that could ruin the fun part of this contest.
