I liked Cincy too, but was thinking that maybe we're askign for a bit too much if we think they'll sweep someone on the road.

Cincy i use to think that way, "how can a team blow all 4 at home, something gotta give"...not anymore though, each game is played individully, Ortiz has pitched 4 straight quality starts...The Reds are still in the playoff hunt...Pittsburgh has packed it in....same with Baltimore and Oakland...I am riding these teams that are streaking all the way to the shore!

Now on the flipside I have rode them all this way, so its somewhat easier to swallow if Ortiz comes out and gives up 5 early....

My profits have soared the past couple years when i stopped thinking like that...

I used to think that way as well, that teams in contention are going to do better than teams out of contention. So then I bet the Angels against Baltimore after they won the first 2 and Baltimore wins the 3rd. Kinda spooked me. However, there have been other teams that have swept lately so it's kind of reset my thinking.

did you mean risk 500 to win 530 on this one? I'm going with Oak -1.5 for +170. Same wager amount to win more and they haven't won a game by exactly 1 run since 8/11 at home against the Angels and haven't won a road game by exactly 1 run since 8/5 at KC

I like to look at things that way as well. I look for how many times a team has won by 1 and if it is not much then I take the RL.

Looks like 3-2 minimum+652 (unless San Diego can pull it out) an okay day, nothing great.

What really hurt and disappointed me was the rain delay in Boston, the TB pitcher didn't return, got into TB bullpen in 2nd inning!

I didn't catch that KC/Min under. In retrospect it looked rather obvious with Min scoring so poorly lately. Might be worth another look for Tuesday.
